Plenty bright, sturdy construction, single function flashlight with ring mount. This is better than I expected at the price.

Don't hesitate. Nice setup!
Before this came, I was expecting this to be a total piece of crap. I thought for this price, there's no way you can get anything decent. I believe I was proven wrong. This light came in a plain white box but inside was the light, 2 CR123A batteries, different lense covers to change the color output of the light, a tape switch, and the mount. I'll go into each one of these things individually to be thorough. The light:The quality of the light is very good, worth the $35 for it alone. It has just On/Off and does allow for momentary on. The light is o ring sealed at the tailcap and the construction is very solid. The description lists the light at around 300 lumens. I'd say it's there or maybe even a little brighter. The hotspot is good and it has adequate throw to be mounted for tactical use.The mount:The mount has the light sit in a good spot to where there isn't much if any shadow when mounted on the sides of your weapon. There is a bit of play against the rail but after adding blue loctite, it seems to have snugged up. It does come with the tool to tighten the mount screws, just as a side note. It doesn't feel as though it'll move or shift. If it does, I'll update this. The tape switch:Good quality. Works for momentary only which honestly is nice. If you're clearing a structure, you should only be using momentary anyways. It functions well and is very responsive. Some of the other reviews mention there's no way to mount the switch. There is no way to mount it to your rail but it's a pretty small thing. Using industrial Velcro and 8" zip ties ($6 total) or rail retention clips from Streamlight ($6 for 2 on Ebay), securing this switch is pretty easy. Additionally, there is a little added length in the cord. If it's too long fot where you're mounting it, wrap it around the light mount.Batteries: They work. Nothing else to sayColor Lenses:Comes with a plastic holder and additional filters. Red comes pre-installed. You simply slip the plastic piece over the bezel. If you need to transition back to white light quickly, you can use the little pivot mechanism to do so. It's actually a pretty smart idea. If you're using this as a fighting light, you'll most likely leave them in the box.Overall, this thing is definitely worth the money. I haven't had the chance to fire the weapon with it attached yet but I don't think it'll have any issues. If any of the stuff I mentioned earlier changes, I'll update my review. As it stands now, if you're on the fence or worried about buying this setup, don't be. Buy it. I think you'll really like it.

Rail mount hardware is trash
Didn't even get to mount it yet and use it because the screw broke before it could get tighten down

Amazing quality
Do not hesitate to buy this. Buy a couple before the price goes up. Very well made. Solid build nothing cheap about it. Comes with almost everything you need for you to add this a shotgun build, AR and AK platform. Comes with batteries, but I do suggest that you buy rechargeable batteries. The only con I have is that it holds up for a bit then gets lose. They need to rework the picatinny rail adapter. Has to have a block of some sort in order for it to stay out an not slide of the picatinny rail

actually bright
Not kidding it's bright, wish the extended switch was on/off, it's not, it's pressure, I have some flashlights that are like $7, the ones that claim 1000nits or whatever.... yeah this is much brighter, if your think is shock and awe your gtg up close, quality of it is pretty good, the filters take off a lot of brightness but are pretty solid over all.... biggest complaint is the extended switch has NO grip, duct tape and hockey tape will not grip it..... AT ALL, needs tp be done properly to stay in place, don't even think about double sided tape I tried the best no dice, you gotta corner both sides in

Item is mad of high-grade aluminum and fits great on my mossberg
I'm digging it so far. Item is mad of high-grade aluminum and fits great on my mossberg. I really like the option to switch out the color filters for a custom experience. I was worried that the red filter may interfere with my laser site "dot," but the filter is a much lighter, pinkish red, just FYI. Works for me, but some may not enjoy as much. Gave it 4 stars because the filter unit won't stay on by itself, tried twisting/ adjusting every which way, but it pops off just from something lightly brushing past it. Forget about it staying on reliably through gunfire unless you superglue it on like I did. I have no clue why the filter doesn't have some way of locking in place, especially when having it on still nets you the option of opening the hinge to remove/change the filter. Couldn't the same result be achieved by having the separate cap just be part of the light itself? Oh well, still a good light.

highly recommended for weekend warriors (airsofters).
i'm an active airsofter and have gone through many tact lights, including streamlight. for the price this has a very good pressure switch. only time will tell how long the pressure switch will last. what i like about this light is that it has a lens cover (i will be putting lexan clear sheet on it to protect it from bb shots). it is very bright and i can use my rechargeable cr123's. i've seen a number of 1 star reviews because of the mounting hardware. that's not even related to the flashlight itself. it can use standard scope mounts. i have a variety of offset mounts at my disposal, but so far the mount that came with it works fine. the flashlight housing is very solid and has some weight to it. it has single mode which is ideal for my use. i hate the ones that change modes each time you activate the pressure switch. i've seen pressure switches costing twice as much as this flashlight. i'll update later if/when the pressure switch fails.

Amazing lght for the price!!
You get soo many things and for the price it is definitely worth it. It is a little bulky if you are wanting to run a very compact style build but if you don't care then I would say why spend more on other stuff. Save your money and get ammo instead!!
