I ordered small and received medium....with that, I am very unhappy, as it's the second time amazon has sent an item larger than what I ordered.With the product itself, I am quite happy, minus the size.

My husband has been wearing these for years. They are his absolute favorites. Thanks to the soles on them he can wear them outside within reason.When we placed our order the ONLY size available to order on the page was SMALL, so how did we receive size MEDIUM? Ugh hate to do returns so I hope these work out alright.Only reason for 4 stars is because of the size issue.

Ended up also buying pairs for both my dad and son. These are very comfortable wearing around the house and keep my feet warm.

Overall, I like these, and they do keep your feet warm once they're on. With the smooth sole, they're a little bit slippery on my garage's cement floor, but not too bad. My biggest problem with them really isn't any fault of theirs, but the arthritis in my back makes it difficult to get the right one on. But once on, they're warm and snug. What makes them kind of a pain is a dog who always wants to go out, necessitating my removing these (they're house shoes only), then putting them back on after his ablutions are over.

I purchased this pair over six years ago. Used them every day for six months out of the year. I'm 6'1" and 230. I am not easy on footwear. I'll often go outside to get the mail or take out the trash, and have spent many nights working outside in the garage with these on. All I can say is these slippers rock! I've started wearing through the sole now and am ready for a new pair. Without hesitation I will be getting these again.I read some reviews with people claiming theirs were shredded after a few months. The only way I can see that happening is if they routinely filled them with gator bait and threw them out into their backyard swamp.

I take a 8.5 to 9 in shoes and the medium just fits. The QC is not great as one is larger than the other.

I had a severe allergic reaction around my ankles with hives after using them out of the bag for 1 evening. Took 2 weeks to clear up with dr prescribed medications. I washed them 5 times with hot water before attempting to wear them again and now only wear them with thick socks. I needed a leather bottom slipper with no cushion on the bottom so this is suiting my needs now. I couldn't find anything comparable in my local stores. I think they may have been treated with a chemical for storage or shipping that caused my reaction. Even though they are wool I would suggest washing them first. **** I have since called the manufacturer and they assure me there is never anything sprayed on their products.*** These are made of rag wool. Apparently wool comes from different breeds of sheep and despite that I regularly wear wool socks and sweaters with no reactions it is possible that I may be allergic to wool from the specific breed of sheep that was used in these slippers.
