In my opinion not worth the headache
The picture is pretty good. I do have some complaints though, you can never make out license plates, even on the most clear of pictures. If there's a car accident or reckless endangerment/ driving the only thing you can make out is the make and model of vehicle. Being able to see the license plate number is very important, especially when dealing with police or insurance companies. Also lately at night when I'm driving the flash on the front of the camera, flashes on and off every 20 seconds. I've tried everything possible to figure out why it's doing that. There isn't anything in the owner's manual and when you go into the menu and you turn off the headlight warning which could be the only possible explanation, it's still flashes. there's no reason for that to happen and it's distracting for oncoming traffic, having a bright white light flashing at you. It's distracting for me as the driver seeing it flashing off of my windshield. It's unnecessary. The constant beeping is quite unnecessary also and annoying. There's no way to turn that off. I have the beeping volume set to off, just like with the flashing light but it still does it. so if you're looking for a dash cam that gives you a decent picture but you don't need any specific details and you don't mind a ridiculous flashing light, beeping, or the fact that this camera does not hold a charge at all, it has to be plugged into a running vehicle for it to work which is annoying and I would not have purchased this camera if I would have known I would not be able to use it when the car is off as a security measure for my vehicle. Then this is for you but when I bought it, it was under $40 the price has gone up quite a bit since then and I do not believe that this camera is worth $56. I will be looking for a new dash cam and selling this one. You get what you pay for.

Very good dash camera so far
I ordered this camera to replace another one from a different vendor that failed after 1.5 years. I am hoping this one would last at least 5 years and will update my review if it fails. Here are pro's and con's for this camera:The Pro's are:1- The set-up is fairly easy and the instruction manual is well-written.2. There are two cameras for front and rear view which makes it useful to record all types of accidents.3- The setup allows multiple modes of operation for motion detection and parked car accidents which could be useful if your car is hit in a parking lot when you are not there.4- The suction cup looks sturdy and strong to firmly attach to front or rear window.5- The power supply cables are quite long and convenient to reach out to the cameras from the power outlet.6- There are setup's for headlight and lane change that sound useful but are not explained how they work.7. Battery life appears quite good to allow short recordings when the car is parked but I am wondering how it would fare in cold weather. The con's are:1- The picture resolution in 1080 looks grainy from both cameras. My older camera with the same resolution had much sharper image so I am not sure if the resolution is really 1080 pixels.2- The camera can't record the speed and GPS location unlike my older camera.Despite lower quality of picture, the picture still is good enough for showing any problem you might face on the road so I am happy with this camera and hope for it to have a long life.

Great motion detection dash cam
Pretty good dash cam so far for the price and quality. I really like that the suction cup mount is actually a predrilled hole attachment with threading vs just one of those ball joint attachments (like on the cheaper cameras that fall off right away). The resolution of the lens itself is really clear! I was actually a bit surprised considering that I wasn’t expecting it. However, the thing I like the most about this dash cam is it has this parking security feature where basically I’d like your car gets hit or the car is moved/shaken from something the camera turns on and starts recording. I haven’t used the rear recording camera that comes with it yet because I don’t really want to fiddle with my car’s wiring. But the front dash cam part works well. It comes with two mounts which is nice, but doesn’t come with a microsd. So you need to buy that extra. There no flash memory on the dash cam so it won’t record anything without a microsd in the slot, I tried. As for the screens brightness, it’s decent and is visible in the sunlight, but it could be brighter. The design of the dash cam is nice, it’s not bulky. It’s sleek and slim so it doesn’t take up much space on the windshield, nor does it look like an eyesore. Overall, I’d say give it a try, it’s nice for the money and if your brave enough to use the rear camera as well, then it’s probably much more worth it.

Great...for a while. Now I have two broken mounts.
I like these cameras enough that after I bought one for a gift, I bought two more for my own cars after getting great feedback on the gifted one. They're easy to use, the video quality is pretty good, and the suction cups were great - for a while. Every once in a while I'd find them hanging by the cords when I'd get to the car. This was only during extreme hot or cold weather, so it wasn't a big deal, but after a while, the plastic that the suction cup mounts to one of the mounts broke on one camera. Then, just a short time later, it broke on the other camera. Now, I can't use either one.
