The lights are a little subtle but they work efficiently. They change colors as well :)

They did fall apart right out of the bag, but hot glue fixed it. I take them out of the water when we are not using them because of the other reviews. You have to unscrew them to turn them off, so you would be leaving an opening for water in the battery case, or you could leave the paper to block the battery to keep it closed complete, but that’s a lot of work. You would have to do this to keep it water proof during the day. For the price and effect it is worth it. Just have to take care of them or they’ll for sure break.

I received the flowers and they looked ok at first. I had a hard time finding the instructions for turning them on. A small slip of paper was stuck to the inside of the package. After removing the paper backing protecting the battery compartment and turning them on they did create a subtle glow, nothing bright. They lasted exactly 2 times of use and the battery ran out. There was nothing on the instructions about the life of the battery or the suggested time usage. Very disappointed because all I have now is floating flowers in the pool without any glow.

Great when first put in fountain, after couple days would not light up, changed batteries still only worked one day.

They’re pretty and look like the picture. Very peaceful. Used for my home birth, and now for the bath. Only issue is that you twist the battery compartment almost open and closed to turn it on and if you twist it even slightly too far it opens completely and the battery falls out which caused issues when my toddler figured that out, and when I try to turn them on in the bath and have to worry about the batteries falling out. Wish it was a switch and didn’t have to tighten and untighten the battery compartment to turn it on. It literally turns off and on by you separating the battery connection

I love these! Bought these for a tiki themed birthday and they looked so pretty and festive floating in the pool! They were super easy to turn on (my daughter did them- she just pulled the paper tab and turned the circle to on) and we stuck them in the pool. Yes, depending on the current of you pool they might all clump together in one area but for the most part they floated around and had a pretty glow. I ordered 2 sets and they glowed all night and I plan to use them again. All of them worked and was a nice little extra for the evening!

They really are cute in daylight and really pretty at night but they come with no detailed instructions or "do and don'ts". To turn them on or off you simply twist the battery compartment to loosen or tighten. If you turn them off it loosens the battery compartment and makes them unusable to just float in the water during the day because water will easily get into the battery compartment. They are NOT WATERPROOF even when fully tightened. I forgot to turn them off after a gathering one evening and when I pulled them out the next morning EVERY ONE OF THEM had water in the battery compartment and now they are all rusted inside and won't work properly! It had been less than 10 hours since I turned them on! The flowers are hot glued to the lily pad and 2 of them have come off already. If you only need to use them once they're great but if you would like multiple uses look elsewhere.
