Installation Nightmare
I was super-excited to get my C2M delivered today to add an accessory to my SNES Mini and expand the play options. Well, four hours later, still not able to do anything with it. Followed the installation step-by-step several times and it failed to install. Searched Youtube for tutorial videos on setup and nothing worked. It refuses to install. The troubleshooting guide in the manual was no help. Literally gave a trouble-shooting option for every scenario of blinking lights except for the scenario I needed. Maybe I just received a defective unit or something, but I am not happy. My USB drive was brand new, fresh out of the package, and purchased specifically for the C2M. It was not corrupted and properly FAT 32 formatted. I will be returning the C2M.

It Works! But It Might Require Patience For Some.
First off, you NEED a designated USB drive to run this. 16-32 GB drives are super cheap anyway, but it does add to the overall price.Anyway, this thing works like a charm. ...After several attempts at trying to get it to work. The instructions aren't exactly precise and I can tell where it confuses certain people, based on the negative reviews I see here and there. When installing it and the Game Cartridges, you need to make sure you use the white USB included in the packaging, that the USB used to power the C2M is connected to a standard power outlet, and that the files are properly copied into the USB drive. If you have issues, be patient, reformat the USB and repeat the copy/paste file process again (you'll know you got it right when the boot screen appears and code actually writes on the screen and brings you to a new Main Menu offering you a couple new options.)Another thing I should point out is that it uses a file on the USB to store save files in, so you cannot use the save files already on the cartidge, meaning you will always have to start a new save file for every game. This can be beneficial though for those with cartridges with bad/decayed save batteries. One last thing I should also mention is that I tried a ReproCart game on it and it did not cache the game into the system nor seem to even recognize it. Not sure if it is because of how the cartridge was made, but worth consideration.Aside from all that, the picture looks wonderful, you can download boxart for every game, you can make save states on games not even naturally on the SNES Classic, and it even has ROM support for all those games that haven't been localized in the US.Adding up all the costs to get this entire setup though (SNES Classic, C2M, and USB), it gets to about $140-150 total. But it's worth it to literally play every S/NES game and then some.

Failure To Launch
This seemed like the perfect item for someone who doesn’t want to deal with the construction aspect of the Raspberry Pi! I got mine, tried to install the files by following the instructions to the letter! Nothing. Tried multiple times and nothing. Thought I had it once but it never finished. I even emailed the company through their website and got no response. A 5 star idea earns 1 star.

An $80 paperweight
I downloaded the install files numerous times. For the first 90 tries the green light just stayed on solid (didn't blink). Then after the 90th try, it started blinking, but then it just came back on solid when it was "done" and my screen stayed black forever. Completely contrary to the instructions, there was never at any time text showing me the install process. Also contrary to what the company website told me, there was never any new home screen that started up after it downloaded. Complete and total waste of money. The only reason it has 1 star is because that's the bare minimum I have to give.
