Took a few minutes to spread out the "tines" of the star (they come all together and can be stored like that - so very small for storage), but after that, just left outside in the sun for a day, then turned on and have left them like that for at least a week. They charge during the day, come on automatically at night. Look magical.

Because the description had several different ways of describing them, I though that it had different light patterns but not the case, you can only arrange the wires in different patterns.They do not stay on for 6-8 hours. I only get a couple of hours at the most and I live in So Cal so sun is not an issue.Disappointed compared to the one I have that lasts 8-10 hours and has about 10 different light patterns.

I ordered these lights plus a pair from another company. Without the others for a comparison I might have given more stars. Unfortunately, "warm white" is more of a yellow, not at all bright. The switch on both sets is difficult to use but appears to be waterproof. If you are looking for faded, subtle yellow they are fine.

Not quite what we expected as the photo shows colors, but it is still very bright and cute out in the lawn. I have no buyers regret.

They are so cute like tiny trees but one is not working. I think it was broken during shipping. :( it was just lose both work fine and I love them

Put them going up me steps for Christmas. They were beautiful but they only stayed lite for 3 hours. If they would of stayed lite longer I would have ordered more. They are beautiful when lite.

Love these on my patio and campground.
