Chrononauts: Lost Identities

My son loves these and hasn't been able to find any new ones for quite a while. I can't wait to give these to him

See "The Gore Years" for the review of this one.I bought this expansion pack along with the Chrononauts version 1.5 and really enjoy the way it makes your mind twist and turn. As my review for Chrononauts explains, this whole game will exercise your brain. These cards integrate quite well with the original game. The original game ended its timeline at 1999 --- this expansion pack extends the timeline into the first decade of the 21st century. Some people may find it inappropriate to see the attack on NYC's World Trade Center used as an element of gameplay, but then, the original game includes the deaths of JFK and John Lennon and the possible assasinations of Ronald Reagan and Hitler. The additional row that this pack adds to the timeline may make the card layout a bit difficult to fit on something like a TV tray -- you may need a full-sized card table. Definitely worth the price.

This is an expansion kit to the game Chrononauts (the standard version, not the Early American or Back to the Future games). It is only useful for owners of the original game. Having said that, it's a great addition to that game, which comes with a very small number of identities to play. It's one of our favorite family games, and it's even mildly educational.

There were some cards that repeat from the original two decks, but for the price any additions are welcome!

Love Chrononauts and the extra identities make it more fun. I had played it to the point I knew what others were going for based on how they play. This helps stop that cause there so many of them now.

If you already own and love the game Chrononauts this is a welcome addition, adding several more identities to the game. This makes it less predictable if you play multiple times, as we usually do.

I love Chrononauts but some of these ID cards don't make sense in relation to the story and some are rather boring. A few are unique or fun stories but most are just a hodgepodge of random events you need to get.

We already love the original game. This is a nice addition to make it more diverse.It won't change the way the game essentially works but will make it more fun.
