Rug Gripper Tape for Area Rugs and Runners (6" x25ft)

Great tape that keeps the rug in place. Important to but as close to the edge of the rug so you don't catch your shoe on the lip of the rug.

This is a great product. Holds our stair treads in place against a 70 lbs Lab! Doesn't damage to stair finish and you can adjust the carpet if you don't get it right the first time. This is the second time we have purchased this product.

You have to apply these in a certain way which I will mention later. I moved to a condo that has carpeted floors and I love rugs. I put some runners on both sides of my bed over the carpet. They were moving all over and tripping me. This product is keeping them in place. I dont dance on top of them, but so far after 8 days they have stayed in place. I also put a runner in the bathroom over the ceramic tile and that is staying in place too. The other rugs I have are not moving much so I did not need to use this tape.I did vacuum the runners in the bedroom with a cordless and they stayed down. I also removed the runner in the bathroom and it went back on and stuck. I cant say how constant moving these rugs will affect them. NOW AS FAR AS USING THIS PRODUCT.. you cant cut off pieces and place them because the both sides are very sticky and you cant remove the liner if you cut pieces off. You will be there all day trying. This was not really explained on the box. What you need to do is unroll the tape on the back side of the rug sticky, side down how you want it, step on the liner to stick it down well, then pull the liner off and cut it, but leave some loose so you can repeat the process by pulling the liner off. You will get the hang of it. PS The similar product in stores probably wont stick. I tried that years ago from Meijer.

Wish it would last longer. Once is gets dirt or hair in it it doesn’t stick anymore.

My futon used to slide down and it was a literal pain to fix as I once strained my back lifting it. Now that I put the strips onto the slats in the frame, the futon has not slid down.

Doesn't work well too secure my area rug in my work office (low-nap office carpet). Had to use the entire roll for a 3x5 rug and, while it's better, it still moves about a half inch a day and I have to pull it up and reposition. Stickiness will probably not last.

This tape is mesh-style double sided (double-stick) ''tape''. Applying it can be a bit tricky because the yellow plastic backing must be peeled off. You need to ''pinch'' it in a corner with a fingernail to get the yellow plastic to come off.It seems top work good for a throw rug over a carpet, but I found that if it won't stick to the bottom of a throw rug, putting Gorilla Tape on the bottom of the throw rug where the Rug Gripper Tape comes in contact with it solves the problem.

My dog runs around all the time and the rugs in y house get crumpled and tossed around. Since I used this under both the rugs on carpets as well as on wooden floors, the rugs stay in place. I am delighted.Furthermore, application is so easy. I first keep the rug where I want it and fold it back on one side. I peel back the yellow backing of the sticky tape. Then I pick up the actual sticky tape and cut it to the length I need. It is sticky but not so much that you cannot do this. I stick the cut piece onto the folded back of the rug and straighten it in place and press down to stick. Repeat on the other side. So simple. Only thing is, I ensure that the yellow backing that remains on the roll is always longer than the sticky tape, else it is a little difficult to separate it.

Hi, I definitely recommend the product bcz it's great especially working on carpet floor.After I used it, all my naughty small rugs became still!I suggest that you buy 2 packs if you have lots of rugs and big size carpets. I regretted that I only purchased one, so when I used it, I have to economized on it.:(

This review is after about 3 months of usage. I placed 3 long strips under a 1.8m rug. Placed the rug over a thick carpet and my rug hasn't moved since. Absolutely worked for me! Thus, highly recommended!

It wasn't sticky enough to do the job - I ended up using double sided carpet tape along with this.
