Great lock
5-pin lock with 4 security pins (all spools). Dead hasp and keyway. Much harder to pick than the usual Master Lock. Hard aluminum alloy body resists corrosion. Despite the words "High Security" in the description, you probably can't use this lock for anything really valuable such as an expensive bicycle or gun cabinet. This lock cannot be re-keyed or dismantled.

Excellent Lock that offers good security!
An excellent lock with a number of features. The lock is well made and cannot be shimmed or bypassed. The five pin tumbler has security pins and is key retaining. The lock was difficult to pick.

Good for novice in lock sport not for securing your valuables
I would not secure anything valuable with this lock. I would not call it "max pick resistance." The lock would be a good lock for someone new to lock sport learning spools.

Only buy this if you know what you're getting.
This lock is a pretty particular one. If you just want a padlock this probably isn't the one you should buy. The shackle isn't anything special, it's pretty middle of the road. The cylinder is the main line of defense. It's not a very easy lock to pick, thought it is definitely pickable. It has 5 pins, 3 of mine are security pins. You should expect at least 2 to 3. The cylinder is not spring loaded unlike 99% of locks. It is considered "dead". You have to manually lift the shackle (metal U shaped part) to open the lock. It locks the key in the lock while the shackle is lifted. It must be closed to remove the key. Other than that it works pretty well. My key stuck for the first 20 insertions. That smoothed up quickly. Definitely a neat lock if you've never had an aluminum padlock.

I bought this to practice my picking skill. I still have not yet, but I would definitely bet on it’s security because I may never be able to.

Quality padlock for general use.
This padlock was purchased to practice picking a quality 5-pin lock with spool pins. The lock has 1 standard and 4 spool pins. While it is an excellent padlock, I was able to pick it open within 10 minutes of getting it.
