The lack of video reviews about these was a sign I sadly ignored
I'm returning these. Be warned. These are bot worth $200.I bought my pair from the seller Medinat. Won't make that mistake again. Got the 10.5 EE. I didn't size down at all although I go for 11s on certain sneakers.First, this seller shipped the shoes without the original box. That's underwhelming as I store my shoes in the box they come with and that's part of what you're offering when you list something as new.The shoes are asymmetrical. The leather cuts for the side walls have different widths and lengths, making the laced-up shoes look uneven and although it's almost unnoticeable because of the black color, put lighter colored laces on and you'll see. Also, the tongue was stitched in a way that makes it tilt towards the right, leaving an empty space on the left side of the shoe. One boot had signs of use as the writing on the inner side of the tongue (containing the sizing info) was noticeably worn. That is the one that has the symmetry issuesMy recommendation is to get the Thorogood roofers, which are by far better looking and based on the amount of reviews and videos about them, you can tell they are quality all the way through.

Beautiful boots with unnecessary design flaw.
Gorgeous boots. There was a big problem, though. In their upscale 1958 version of the lace to toe design, Chippewa used a long strip of leather under each row of eyelets to reinforce them.In this less costly pair, they use one strip for the vamp area. This is then scived and glued to a second strip that reinforces the eyelets under the shaft area. There's a lump where the two strips are glued together. It's over the top of the instep. It presses on the instep when the laces are tightened. It hurts.Using two strips per side instead of one was probably done as a matter of economy in the less expensive boot. The amount of money saved was probably marginal. But for me it made a beautiful pair of boots unwearable. It's a shame.

Very narrow for a EE. Had to return them.

Narrow
This boot is made on a very narrow last. I usually wear a 11.5 D in Red Wing Heritage boots. I purchased the 11.5EE and it is a perfect fit.

Sucks that I am now out $20 freight when what ...
The suede is not a chocolate brown as pictured. It is more of an olive color. I already have this boot in black and was looking forward to having it in brown but it is not the brown that is pictured. See photo. Sucks that I am now out $20 freight when what was shipped is not how it is advertised.
