L'VOW Black Feather Shrug Cape Shoulder Wrap Lace Collar Halloween Costumes for Women

This black feather Shrug did not end up fitting the purpose of my costume. It is well made, quite lovely and would be a perfect addition to many costumes! As a result of the excellent construction, it would fit a number of body sizes and shapes.

This is not your grandmother's "shrug", that's for sure. This isn't designed to keep you warm, but it is guaranteed to make you the star of the show. It's borderline "costumey" looking (because of the over-the-top, fiercely confident look it gives off)...but, if you're Not a plain Jane..& if you don't mind being a stunner, and stepping out of the box of "normal"...then, buy this. You might only wear it once, who cares? It's less than $30 & it's red-carpet-worthy. If you're on the fence about this purchase, I encourage you to Do You! Live a little ;) This is an exciting accessory. I wore it with black skinny pants, black pumps, a black tank, and red lipstick, with my hair in a top-knot. Fire. "Life is too short to wear boring clothes."

This was so much better than I ever thought it would be!. I bought this for my dragon queen Halloween outfit and it did the trick! Pretty good quality for the money and it definitely delivered the high impact I was looking for with this costume. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful find! It's really a great costume addition for the price. I'm giving it 4 stars for two issues:First, the cute lace trim was sewn on the wrong side of the feathers. If you look at the product pictures you can see green shimmer on the feathers, which is totally there but on one side of the feathers. It's not a big deal at all and with my hair covering the part I'm talking about you can't even tell! (So in the future I'm going to reverse it for other photoshoots so the green does show in my photos.)Second, the bigger issue, is that it's not nearly as big as advertised. I'm a small person, I stand 5 feet tall, so you can see how the feathers are not as full / dense or as long as advertised on the model who would clearly be taller than me. STILL, I was so impressed with it when it arrived and I really liked the price for it so I'm still happy with it! I definitely recommend and maybe even layering two of them would add to the effect.

I gave this a 3 stars, though I'd say it's more a 3.5. The quality of fabric used is cheap, there were a couple bare spots of missing and wearing it I lost about 5 feathers, however it's design was cool and worked well enough that I'm happy enough. I think it's worth more like $35.

I wore this for Halloween and it was 🔥. My husband was Edgar Allen Poe and I was a raven. I won sexiest costume. (I had my hair down so the feathers on the back aren’t up)

Absolutely love these! Perfect addiction to a costume. Easy to wear. Can fit all body types with these ribbons.

I wanted this for a costume, but when it arrived, it wasn't as pictured. There are fewer feathers - the string of feathers is neither as long or as lush as shown. Worse, no matter what you do, the feathers WILL NOT stand up behind your head, like in the photo. They just flop down, so it just looks like you've got feathers projecting out from your shoulders. I was hopefull, but this was a big disappointment.UPDATE: There was a delay in shipping, so I didn't have the shrug for the event I wanted it for. I've only just had a chance to use it and it lasted all of five minutes before it fell apart. I thought the ribbon had broken, but it turns out it was already broken - shipped to me with a broken/cut ribbon - and had been held together by a tiny black safety pin. There was no way that was ever going to hold together.This item is totally unfit for purpose, but the return window has closed, so I'm stuck with this cheap piece of garbage. Don't buy from this seller!
