I purchased this sim chair to go with my logitech wheel/pedals/shifter that I had been using on a coffee table. The same day I ordered it I sent team homeracer a message inquiring about additional parts for my thrustmaster t.flight hotas 4 flight stick and throttle. Within hours they had messaged me back saying they did have plate attachments and as they are a test batch they were shipping the pieces to me for free. I have had the chair for about two weeks now and the flight sim attachments for one week. The racing setup: There is some assembly required. It took about 30 minutes and they included all necessary tools (two regular wrenches and two Allen wrenches). The assembly instructions are very easy to follow and illustrated. They also include instructions for mounting your wheel/pedals/shifter with different instructions for different brands. All the small parts were bagged and labeled very clearly with a letter and what they were for. Once the chair is assembled it is very adjustable. Rubber coated knobs allow you to adjust: height and depth of steering column, height and width of shifter mount, depth of pedals. You can also adjust the seat itself just like a real car seat (depth and backrest angle). Everything is very sturdy. The shifter pedals and steering wheel all feel like they are part of the chair (no wiggle), and the chair itself does not rock at all while playing. While it is fairly heavy due to the solid materials (all metal) it is also easy to move thanks to the lockable wheels under the pedal plate. The chair itself is very comfortable. It contours and supports your body well. The amount of adjustability means it can fit a wide range of body types and sizes (I'm 6'00" and 250 lbs). The fabric feels durable and the padding has not degraded at all during two weeks of heavy use. I barely used my $300 racing sim controllers for over a year when I tried attaching them to my coffee table. Now with this chair I can't get enough of them. Flight setup. As I already had the chair setup their was minimal assembly for this and again they included clear instructions and all necessary tools. They even let me know ahead of time that with my flight sticks (t.flight hotas 4) that I would have to extend the cord in order to get the side by side arrangement I wanted. Again they included multiple instructions and parts to mount different brands of flight sticks. The plates are sturdy enough that hard mounting the controls is not necessary though. They also included optional spacers to slightly raise and tilt the seat for flight sim. Overall: This greatly enhances the level of immersion you get from your sim experience. The assembly is easy and everything is provided. Comfort is top notch and allows for sim sessions of several hours without aches or cramps. Considering the price you could pay for something very similar this chair is a steal. I cannot overstate how impressed I am with the product and the company. Five stars on everything.

I'm a bit cheap in general, and in particular when spending money on toys that a grown-ass man shouldn't even need. :) But, I got tired of using my wheel/pedals in an office chair, and recently switched to a standing-only desk as well. So, it was time to spend some money. I looked at lots of options and this was by far the most affordable for this type of setup. I use a Logitech G920 and only race iRacing, but I race pretty consistently (several hours per week on average). This ticked all the boxes, so I pulled the trigger. Shipping was pretty quick and it arrived undamaged which is always a concern with large items like this. Packaging was great, everything you need is in the box and instructions are better than most. Assembly didn't take long at all, and there is a nice amount of adjustability. I'm 6'-2" and about 225 pounds, didn't have any trouble finding spacing that worked well for my needs. I've spent quite a few hours in this seat now and have no real complaints. It holds up well, is reasonably comfortable, and is vastly superior to sitting in an office chair while pretending to be a race car driver. I always race in VR as well, so little bit of fiddling to get a functional desktop setup going, but as it sits now it works okay and even for long endurance races I am comfortable and competitive. Highly recommend - honestly it's hard to believe they can sell it at this price and make money at it!

Got this chair for VR racing and flight sim. Had it for a couple of years now, used daily. Not much more than a good seat with some square tube framing, but I do like the modularity for easy switching. You will need to buy the flight platform separately. Since I'm space constrained it works great for that. The chair has held up well - seems of great construction and the slider mechanism is very useful. But, everything else is add on - the seat risers and the lumbar are definitely needed and should have been included with the chair - extra $$$. I don't think they claim to support a direct drive wheel base but it works well with my Moza R12. My Moza CRP2 pedals destroyed the plate the first day. For flight sim the mounts are fine, but the mounting plates for the stick and throttle are extra $$$. I have modified both the racing and flight modules with laser cut foot and butt shaker plates, butt shakers as well as heavier duty fasteners and now it's fine for a 2 hour shift at Sebring in LMU. So 4 out of 5 stars, kinda around the 60 percentile of sim systems. If you're the engineering / cnc type or have a similar friend you can stretch the system a bit more past it's design.

For a couple years now I have used a Logitech G920 that I attached to a wooden TV dinner tray, sat in front of the living room TV for racing sessions. Well, having two kids eventually brought negative consequences to my off-balanced setup, causing the table and the attached wheel (with pedals underneath on the floor) to come crashing down, snapping the two screw-down latches on the G920. Enter the OpenWheeler GEN3 Racing Wheel Cockpit stand. It feels great being able to bolt down both the wheel unit and the pedals securely. The blue racing seat also feels great. Everything is adjustable, so that's great too. The seat adjusts back and forth the same as your seat in your real car does. The seat also folds over the wheel a bit to aid in storage while not in use. The only gripes I have, and they are pretty minor I admit, are: 1. The default setup sets roughly four inches off the floor, which for somebody my age (I've been sim racing for 25 adult years now), can make it a bit of a chore to get in and out of. The manufacturer does offer bumpers to push this up off the floor a few more inches, but I didn't feel like spending even more money on this luxury. 2. The preferred way to rout the wires from the steering wheel means attaching them (via provided velcro straps) to the upright that the wheel is fastened to. This decreased the distance I can sit from my Xbox by at least a foot (not the racing seat maker's fault). The wife was initially pissed at me for spending $400 on a "toy," but it's easier to live with forgiveness than regret, right? Overall, I'm very pleased with the product.

ordered on the 15th standard free shipping, it arrived on the 18th! this item is very sturdy, built of quality materials, assembly was a breeze, (the only negative issue I found is that there are no knobs or hardware to secure the rollers in the back tubes to keep them from sliding in and out when your moving it, not a giant issue but seemed odd because there are threaded areas to do so) seat is very comfortable (durable? time will tell) . I would recommend the lumbar pillow or your own small pillow, this cockpit is adjustable in every way so whether your short or tall there seemed to be and endless amount of ways to adjust it to make it work, i personally am vertically challenged at 5'4" . I found no wobble issues at all, my thrustmaster tx mounted up perfectly as well as the pedals, all the hardware and tools were supplied, I did order the riser kit at the same time (good move) without the riser kit it sits directly on the ground and unless you like to do combat rolls every time you get up then this kit is a MUST, my TV sits high so i actually added 4x4`s underneath the frame, i was able to mount them with no mods to the frame, this brought it up an additional 3.5" which is great, and the stability is still there, and you can still raise it up to roll it around, if someone would like to see the pictures I would be happy to take some. Time is always the true judge of a product, and normally I wait a couple of months before reviewing a product, but as solid as this thing is built I can foresee no issues.
