I bought these under the assumption that placing them on unused ends would result in better signals. Quite the opposite. I placed them on unused ends of splitters and it resulted in our streaming services being almost un useable. Buyer beware!

So if you are uninformed, as I was, never leave an open coax connector anywhere in your house. I have coax running to several WiFi extenders, but for years there have been two splitters with no cables connected on a couple of connectors. When I installed these terminators, boom, the strength of the WiFi increased and stabilized.

I used these to cap off two coax ports I’m not currently using on a 4-way splitter/amplifier I have for my OTA setup. I have always heard these keep your signal from “leaking” but not totally sure that’s true or just something they tell you so you’ll buy something like this. Either way, they were inexpensive and appear to do what they’re designed to do.... I say it’s a “meh” at best.

I ordered a few 75ohm termination caps from two different vendors for comparison purposes. These from Ancable tested closer and more consistently to spec than those I got from CIMPLE. Also, the threaded portion of the caps from Ancable are longer than those from CIMPLE which, in my estimation, makes for a more secure fit.

Used these to cap the extra connections on my Antenna Combiner, worked like a charm and good quality.

Used in my RV. Was concerned they would fall out of fixture (they hang upside down) but its not an issue.
