Tripp LiteHDMI Switch 5-Port for Video & Audio 4K X 2K UHD 60 Hz with Remote HDMI 2.0 HDCP 2.EDID (B119-005-UHD)

Successfully connected many devices (BluRay player, Wii game console, VCR) to wall-mounted TV and it's sound bar. Works great. Here's my set-up: TV on west wall. HDMI cable and IR blaster cable fed through wall to basement and extended 20 ft across the room (40-ft of audio cable) to ENSIGEAR IR Repeater Kit. Kit & Tripp-Lite HDMI Switch velcro-mounted on plywood panel. Converted some HDMI cables to RCA (yellow, white, red composite) for Wii & VCR devices using RCA to HDMI Converter, Amtake 1080P RCA Composite CVBS AV to HDMI set to 1080p. Connected HDMI (or RCA) and IR emitter cables to devices (game consoles and BluRay at east wall of room, others like cable box in basement). IR cable glued near the device IR sensor (checked the manual).Pros: Simple DIY once I knew what pieces were required and how to connect.Cons: Remotes for most devices do not have display of status. For the Tripp-Lite, I relied on its design to connect most-recently powered-device. (Work in progress is combining all my remote functions into my TV remote. I am researching universal remotes.)

Only issue with this is that if you have a roku attached to it, the roku never turns off like it did when attached directly to the TV. The roku will continue playing when the roku remote power button is pressed but the TV turns off.

Work as it should, remote is a little touchy.

I have this in my 4th hdmi port on my Samsung Connect, I threw everything I have at it, Comcast cable box, PS4 Pro, AppleTV 4K, and my Nintendo Switch and it handled everything flawlessly. It also auto switches. Highly recommended!

I have a TiVo mini connected as the main input and I have to either turn it off and in again or switch to a different input and then switch back. Very annoying that I can just turn on the tv.
