Great product.
Great product. My cats love it. The label states that it is not filled with corn, garbage, and other fillers. Also mixes great in water. My cats would rather lick their food than bite into it. I mix it with warm water especially after it has been in the fridge. There are never any leftovers in their bowls. Good for cats to get more water into their diet too. Good food makes happy kitties.

This is a scam
This is my cats favorite food, the only kind they will both eat. I was excited to see it at a cheaper price…I should’ve known. Opening a can I noticed it’s a different texture. Well neither cat would go near it. This is clearly a counterfeit product, that is non returnable! Do not buy!

Contents appear "fresh and wet"
I am finishing a round of 24 cans of another brand's pate...which was given to me. Several seafood types and a beef variation were/are amongst the 24 can total. My four cats certainly look forward to these pate cans( so far anyone's pate); at this point this being the second brand they have received. The cats are treated to real Tuna juice and meat when we have canned Tuna, ourselves. They also enjoy real Chicken, other...in similar situations. Relative to the Merrick Brand the four cats get Merrick Dry bagged cat food on a daily basis, alternating between two flavors, every other month. On the dry cat food Merrick goes out-of their-way to instill how great their food is. On the Pate Cans this does not happen due to the limited size of a 3 oz can. Merrick really pushes their dog food(all styles) via advertising. I think "cats" get the bottom rung of attention. This does not mean their cat food types are any less. I can only relate the cats enjoy, indeed love being fed the canned Pate. They know by dish type; and dare I say they are smart enough, by day received. I try to keep the Pate flavors varied amongst the types Merrick offers for sale. One 3 oz can feeds the four cats, each getting a quarter of a can. I rarely have seen the contents drier than it should be, but content "type" seems to have a roll in this. Beef is the least wet it appears, not implying it is dry/overly dry. My cats appreciate the gravy(juice aspect) of the Merrick Brand Pate.

Where’s the beef?
This cat food tastes (I confess) and smells like tuna. The label is misleading. I was expecting a nice BBQ beef aroma. My cats did love it until they did their nightly throwing up. Why is the price so low? I would gladly pay more.

Great cat food!!!
My cat really likes this, and I approve of the ingredients. It's also made in the U.S.....which is a good thing. Although it's a pate'....it has just a little bit of texture to it, so it's not quite as mushy as her other brands of pate' food. I think she likes this....even though she is strictly a pate' eater. At any rate....it's a WINNER....in my book, and in my furry baby's book also. :)

Not the same
My cat will only eat Merrick tuna from petsmart. She will not touch this food. It also doesn’t look the same or smell the same. This is very strange and upsetting. Now I’m stuck with $30 worth of food my cat won’t eat.

When this is good, it is very very good
When this is good, it is very very good. When it is dry, it is awful!!! This batch was good enough to encourage me to order more.

Found Mold in Three Different Cans
My cat loves this brand... most of the time. Every now and then, he won't eat it. I've begun to notice his acute instincts for food that's "turned." I've opened no fewer than THREE cans of this brand's cat food with clusters of white mold in it.I'll note, these are not all from a single Amazon purchase. Meaning this isn't just a bad batch. One of the bad cans came in a case I ordered from Amazon; the other two were purchased a month apart from two different local pet stores.I'm attaching one picture of mold I found in a can I'd just opened. I noticed it while scooping out a serving. I'm also attaching a picture of some mold I missed when scooping out the serving, but when my cat refused to eat it, I noticed the mold proliferating. I have no idea what this is, but it's disgusting, and you should all know there are a lot of cans getting past Merrick's QA team. (Incidentally, I also found this mold in one can of Fancy Feast cat food.)
