I want to write apps for this device, do you have an SDK or not, and where is it available?

Hi Friend, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we don't have an SDK to help you. Thank you!

How long does it take ro scan a page?

It only takes seconds to scan a page. You just slowly move the scanner down the page. Mine tells me if I was successful. It does take a few times using the scanner to get good at it. I love mine because I use it when I'm in a library doing genealogy work. The most important thing is to make sure your page is laying flat. Practice a few times and I think you'll love it.

Does it scan to searchable PDFs?

Dear MUNBYN customer, Our document scanner supports scanning PDFs.And we offer OCR to help you accurately convert scans, PDFs and photos into easy-to-edit serachable files. If you need further assistance, contact us: E-mail: support@munbyn.com Whatsapp: +8617817881067

I have difficulty with books that do not have a wide margin, how much space is required from the end of the device to the scan field?

I cm (or about 3/8 inch) was not enough. I would not recommend it for scanning books.
