Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes Book and CD Set Paperback – January 1, 2017

My kiddo enjoyed the book, counted the cupcakes, and talked about the ingredients that we need to make cupcakes. I definitely recomend this book!

Pete the cat is grooving, as he always does. Kids love pete. Who knows why, but they do. Whats the deal with grumpy toad anyway. In one book hes riding a motorcycle. Is he an adult or a kid? If hes an adult then he shouldnt be hanging out with kids and stealing their cupcakes.

The author writes fun, original stories about Pete the Cat which my daughter loves. I've read several to her class and they enjoyed them as well. Definitely recommend for kids in early elementary school or younger (ages 3-8). All of the books are about the same, so find one that has an interesting subject matter. I read the cupcakes book on my daughter's birthday to her class and also brought in cupcakes (be sure to ask the teacher first about food allergies).

I bought this for my 7 year old niece on her birthday. She immediately knew who Pete the cat was and when the party settled down a bit, she curled up on the couch and read it. When I saw her again a couple weeks later, she made sure to tell me how much she loved the book and Pete. Reading isn't her favorite thing, but cats are. I was very impressed with the pictures, the colors are attention-grabbing and gorgeous. The story line is adorable. She wants more Pete the Cat books.

Oh, that Pete the Cat! How my kids love him so. This book is a little bit different than the other Pete books because it has rhymes in it. My 4 year-old and 6 year-old both love to read it.

I love Pete and Gus, but this book has no flow to it whatsoever, to the point of being a total distraction. It would be easy to change those parts to have meter that was consistent throughout, so I have no idea why the authors didn't.

As a preschool teacher I love books that involve the children and interest them. Pete is their favorite character and this book quickly became one of their favorites. For me as a teacher there are so many things I teach with this book: counting, emotions, problem solving, morals.

I don't know about this one. I didn't feel like it was as good as I Love My White Shoes. I like how it counts by two however. The clues it gave were confusing.

My four year old granddaughter loves to count the cupcakes on each page . This is a very colourful way to teach subtraction! She can also pick out some words that she likes to read herself (although that may be memorization ).

An excellent book to read to preschoolers - easy reading and very simple for the children to understand - they love counting the cupcakes and looking at the clues to find out who is stealing the cupcakes away - I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves Pete the Cat
