Multipet Sock Monkey Plush Dog Toy, Small, Medium and Large Breeds

I gave this 5 stars because it is a cute toy and would be good for a dog who doesn't chew on toys and tear them up. My 11-pound dog received this toy today and loves it. Unfortunately, he tore it within 30 minutes. It would be better if it had more than one squeaker because my dog loves squeakers. But it has many parts with which he can pick it up and carry it around. The manufacturer says this toy is for "gentle chewers". So noted. Don't buy this for your dog if he chews and tears up toys like mine does. Not sorry I bought it, though. Was cheap enough to give it a try. Day 2 Update: sad news. Our dog tore up the sock monkey & uncovered the squeaker. Had to take it away from him. He sat for 15 minutes wanting it back, but he can't have it back. Some of the stuffing is also missing. My bad. Shouldn't have ordered it since he tears up toys. He really liked it, though.

I always look for plush animals that my dog won't chew through in one day...this lasted two days. Nice soft toy, not as durable as I would have liked but I'm still very happy for the purchase. I have a small dog btw. He loves to take the stuffing out of things. If your dog is the same and want something that will last, this isn't it. But if your dog just like to chew on things and doesn't rip them apart, this might work for you. It does feel like a quality product nonetheless.

I bought a full size sock monkey for our rescued schnoodle who prefers cuddles to toys. She played with it a couple of times. Then our older dog gutted it all over the living room. I put it in the toy box thinking maybe I could fix it and forgot about it. Fast forward a few years. We adopted a new puppy. She was having a hard time at night in her crate, crying. I put the gutted sock monkey in the crate with her. It became her security blanket until it was so stringy I thought it might choke her. Now I’ve bought her the smaller one. She carries it everywhere. It’s too small for the bigger dogs to be interested in. So a great comfort toy…if your pup is not a chewer.

This is a novelty toy, and it probably wont last 5 minutes if you leave it with an aggressive chewer, but we were very happy with it nonetheless. We bought the sock monkey, which was very very cute (it even has a red behind like a baboon - funny!). Our dog really loved this, but it only lasted a few weeks before he decided that he didn't want to play nice any more and ripped it to pieces. My one complaint was that the choice of stuffing wasn't the best. When our dog finally did disembowel monkey, it made a right mess, and I would think that it's the type of stuffing that a dog could choke on. All in all, it's a great novelty toy. It would make a great present for a dog owner, but I wouldn't leave a dog alone with it for more than a few minutes at a time.

Don’t waste your money. This sock monkey didn’t last 10 minutes with my mini dachshund. Filling and squeaker shredded.

This was adorable. My dog loves it and she still has it to this day. It's a great comfort toy for any child or pet. It's definitely a fun toy to have them play with. The sound quality is quite and it's worth the money being spent on this. The size is just right as it's just like a regular sock monkey.

What I received looks nothing like the image. In cat it looks like a 6 year old had tried to recreate it. I'm very disapointed.

Now my little one is a chewer so this product doesn't last long [I've ordered 6 so far]. It isn't the products fault. My little guy loves it. It is easy to carry, squeak noise isn't disturbing...it is his "go" to toy.

Would not recommend. Although my dog is not. Toy destroyer it’s not durable that’s visible. It’s also much smaller and not like the product image which is probably stolen from the original maker.
