As is my usual, when I discovered that I needed clippers, I checked the internet for what pro gardeners use. These shears were recommended for anyone who values the best cut over making the cheapest cut. I've used a few cheap shears before, and I am by no means a shear expert. But it definitely felt better than cutting with ordinary shears, and the replaceability of the parts should in theory keep them up and running for decades.

Use these landscaping on the job so I had to buy them for the house. Love them. I'm a lefty and can use them no problem. They are very sharp and leave nice smooth cuts. Easy to use. Would highly recommend.

Sharp clippers, and great quality. Probably the last clippers that I'll have to buy. Spend the money, diffently worth it.

These by far are the ONLY hand pruners!!! Been in landscaping for over 30 yrs and these the ultimate shears!! Once you use them you will never use anything else!!! You can sharpen these and when finally worn out replace the blades…. Serious gardeners will only buy these!! Trust me they are the finest shears ever made❤️

I had the BEST pair of little pruners: they would cut through ANYTHING but, sadly, I lost them. I had bought them over 10 years ago at a county fair booth. Once they were gone, I researched extensively and ended up with these. They take a lot more effort to cut through branches, even though they’re a tad bigger than my old ones. The first time I used them, I must’ve cut something damp and when I picked them up the next day, they were rusted. So, after removing the rust and oiling them, they were good but they still “stick” now. I expected better.

I had to throw away a pair of corona pruners that were making jagged cuts on my citrus, nectarine and Palo Verde trees to stop risking damage and disease. Ordered these after reading online reviews and they cut nicely. I sharpen my own knives at home and am impressed by how sharp the cutting edge is on these pruners. I have only used a few times so far, but am happy I purchased these. We will see how they hold up when I get to my annual pruning of our 30 year old lemon tree.

The Felco 2 is the absolute best. Believe me, I know. I had mine since 1996 and always use it. Suddenly I lost it last week. I decided to order a new one, and it arrived within a day. Expensive, but it is worth every cent, and when maintained well, it lasts forever. I use some very light sandpaper to clean the blades, put some oil on it in winter, and further it sharpens itself. The fact not a single part or screw changed in 29 years says enough.

Excellent secateurs, handle and cut much better than the supposed good quality ones I got from our local garden centre. Well worth the money.
