All of les Carter's workbooks are excellent and very practical. As a therapist, I use his materials very regularly for my clients.

This is a "must have" book for every Christian Counselor! I have used this book over and over and have found it to be a very comprehensive resource for counseling. Today's world needs advice like this!

a lot of reading and not fun reading either. I am looking forward though in it helping me with my anger issues. I just need to sit down and read it thoroughly now. I have skimmed it a few times.

There is a lot of good advice here, but it's padded out with rather a lot of repetition. Les Carter has probably improved his writing as he's grown in experience.

very spiritual, but practical help! very glad i got it. recommended it to both my sisters, one who will use it in her Christian counselling service and the other who needed it as well. thank God! the only thing that might have made it better if it was written by two moms! haha!
