Would it work for dove hunting and does it have a pocket you could put several dove in at a time

It's HOT in GA so i think it would be just fine for your purpose. The Vest has a large rear pocket for empty shells that would work for dove at least the number I would harvest on an average hunt. LOL The vest also has 4 ample front pockets, smaller one inside larger one, for shells and phone etc. plus a vest pocket for your cigars.

There is a shoulder pocket for a jell pack / shoulder pad in this vest. As far as the back of the vest is concerned, it's very similar to a game / bird hunting vest. The "pocket" can be easily accessed with either hand and is made of black nylon netting (identical to the front of the vest). It's only about 8" deep but it can be used for bird hunting or storing a few light items at the shooting range.

Does it have a pocket to install a recoil pad?

Yes it does: It is in the inside of the vest and is designed for the Browning Reactarg2 recoil pad #309013
