Best Choice Alternative to Way too Expensive Hemets!
OK, well just start with this, BUY IT! If your looking for an inexpensive BUMP Helmet for REAL WORLD use in a Tactical or Grid Down Scenario. Yes, exceeds the demands of average air softing that is for sure. Will it protect your head during basic Security, Military, CQB, Driving type operations? Yes. Will it take a good glancing blow from a baseball bat, yep! Will it protect you noggin while running through the wilds at night? Most Defiantly! Would I trust it to stop a hammer or tomahawk to the skull, meah...most likely not, but then, even a $500.00 team Wendy Bump Helmet or Kevlar wont fulfill its promise in that. All this being said, I was highly impressed by this product. It fits as stated, has a good solid ratcheting suspension system which I suspect is the exact same thing used in most other expensive tactical bump helmets and or caving/climbing/construction hardhats. The shell itself is about one eight thick hard ABS plastic, way thicker then my PT Alpha Bump helmet. Has some flex, but pretty ridged. The tension/Chin Strap suspension system is strong and comfortable. Easily adjusts unlike some other similar helmets. The provided ARC rail systems are adequate, and, I think, not much cheaper than real "ARC" systems which I've seen and used. Now for the Down Side. The NVG Shroud is a good thick plastic, but I suspect may not hold up to long term repeated use or a good blow or drop. However my NVG system snapped right it tight and snug. The provided Padding system is a bit to be desired. But I ordered the FMA Helmet Pad upgrade and created a personalized combo of both padding systems which so far rocks! I would leave the hard foam front and back padding in and supplement the top and sides with FMA pads.Conclusion. The only real disappointing thing about this helmet was that it did not come with the Velcro tabs as advertised, but, whatever, I use my own super Velcro sticky's anyways. In final, if you are looking for a "real world" tactical use bump helmet without spending a fortune, this just might be for you. For the price of just 1 other brand, you could buy two plus all required upgrades, a back up if one fails. The most important thing is to remember this helmet is NON-BALISTIC and only for basic to medium/hard impact use. I am not sure about severe weather condition temperature ranges, which might be a failing of this helmet. However, anything around 90 - 30 degree range, I think will not affect its integrity. Hope this helps.

Very well made helmet
I bought this helmet as a temp until my Team Wendy SAR tac comes in. Right out of the box, this thing is solid. Fits really well, padding is generous and adjustable. The retention system is a perfect knockoff of the boa without the push to turn. I wear a 7 7/8 (yes I have a big head) fitted hat and this feels pretty comfortable and I still have adjustment in the size. The front and rear adjustment straps were easy to adjust both on and off my head but not “loose” or cheap feeling. The chin strap has decent material that looks and feels like soft leather. The hook and loop is decent quality and sticks extremely well. They don’t send directions so look at the cutouts and find the spot on the helmet it mirrors. The material doesn’t feel cheap and it blows my mind this helmet is made this well at this price. The NVG mount is solid, the side rails look brand name and the hardware looks quality.I have a few field ops and training with my team in the next month, I’ll update my review when those are completed and let you know how this fares.I do wish they had more color options. I forgot I was going to paint this Orange BEFORE I put the hook and loop on. Yep, that didn’t happen.

Excellent helmet/Excellent price!
You definitely cannot beat the price for this quality of airsoft helmet. I'd even go as far as saying it's comparable to some of the higher end airsoft helmets on the market right now ($80 and up). Adjust-ability is easy and fit's just slightly tight for me but I have a big head. I fixed that by removing some of the padding. The helmet itself is very sturdy, the plastic for the outer shell is thicker than most helmets I've gotten my hands on out there (which in turn makes the helmet a little heavy). The NVG mount actually fits a military grade rhino mount like a glove. Mine snapped right on and there is no wobble. I only have a couple of complaints though. It was kind of a pain having to place on the Velcro patches onto the helmet itself, there is no instructions on where to place what (had to look on the internet for reference) and it's just kind of a pain since most helmets already have the Velcro patches already placed. The NVG mount (place holder?) was also on there really tight. It was a little stubborn and i had to wedge it out with a flat head. Other than that it is an excellent helmet for airsofting and is a must buy if your trying to come up on a good deal, plus it's on Prime.

Fits
Decent training helmet. Pounded it on the pavement a few times- didn't break.Very comfortable once adjusted. My 61cm mellon fit but was super tight when I initially tried it on- just turned the adjustment knob in the back counter-clockwise- all the way out lol. Picture and description stated dark earth, but actually got tan color- which was the color I wanted anyway but may be a problem for others. Picture shows and NVG adapter but wasn't in the package (the other two accessories were in the package). Directions are good-packaging was excellent. Headset fit inside no problem, so no need for rail adapters unless you prefer it (Both Howard Lieght and Peltors fit under helmet-follow separate directions included in package). Came with set of extra pads. As stated by another reviewer- if you pull the pads be careful or the velcro will come up with it. Chinstrap is cheap but works (easy to adjust). NVG mount is plastic but i have a metal to switch. Update: To those who need it quick, realize that it ships from China so takes longer than the average bear.

Not Bad but Can Be Better
The helmet was marketed to fit up to a 62cm head. I'm a 65 cm head and figured that number meant with pads installed. I could've just removed some padding and been fine, but that's not the case after all. It's the entire possible fit of the helmet rather with pads. If you're a 62cm head, you will fit super tight in this with pads on, probably not at all. Max size with pads is 59cm, so buyer beware.
