Fantastic value for money
I am Japanese, I can't live without Nori for my daily diet! This product is the cheapest but still good enough quality. I am a heavy, heavy repeater of this product. Really appreciate this company to keep providing this product with a same quality. LOVE!!!

Decent, good seaweed
If you snack on them frequently this is probably the cheapest option available. Having bought nearly all the variations available on amazon, I can safely say they all tasted pretty much the same. None can compete with the ones you get in the Asian countries but you make do with what you have. For home made sushi, it's more than enough to do the job. If I'm being honest, they are all over priced and tastes blend but if this is the only type you can get, this is the cheapest option.

Great product, but
I buy these sheets regularly, and usually they are fantastic and very affordable. However, I wish I could see when the expiry date is before I buy the product. If I can talk to someone regarding this I would be very grateful.

Tastes fine, but far too thin and full of holes for making sushi or gimbap
I purchased this massive 200-sheet value pack of Daechun Roasted Seaweed specifically for making homemade sushi rolls and gimbap. At this price point for "Gold Grade" seaweed, I thought I was getting an incredible deal. Unfortunately, while the flavor is decent, the structural quality of these sheets is incredibly poor for any kind of food preparation. Here is my detailed breakdown of why these didn't work for me: The Good: The Flavor: The actual taste of the roasted seaweed is good. It has a nice, natural umami flavor that you expect from Korean gim. The Value: Getting 200 full sheets for this price is undeniably a bargain, assuming you only want to eat them plain as a crispy snack. The Dealbreakers (Why it gets 2 stars): The "Swiss Cheese" Effect: True, high-quality "Gold Grade" sushi nori should be dense, dark, and completely solid. Right out of the package, almost every sheet in my batch was riddled with tiny holes and thin spots. (I will attach photos holding a sheet up to the light so you can see exactly what I mean). Zero Structural Integrity: Because the sheets are so paper-thin and full of micro-holes, they are incredibly weak. The moment I spread warm sushi rice onto the seaweed, the moisture caused the sheet to instantly buckle and tear. It is almost impossible to get a tight, firm roll without the seaweed breaking apart in your hands. Leaks Liquids: Because the sheets are perforated with these natural holes, they do not create a seal. If you have any damp ingredients (like cucumber or marinated meats in your gimbap), or if you try to dip your finished roll in soy sauce, the liquid seeps right through the holes and turns the entire roll into a mushy mess. The Verdict: If you just want to rip these up and eat them as a dry snack, or crumble them over a bowl of rice, they are perfectly fine. However, they are advertised for making sushi and kimbap, and they completely fail at that task. They are far too thin, brittle, and full of holes to hold wet ingredients together. I will be going back to a slightly more expensive, thicker brand for my sushi nights.

Lasts a long time, very thin seaweed sheets
The taste is very seaweed forward. I ran out of a different brand that costs more per seaweed sheet. I thought this would be a great bulk buy, but the quality of these seaweed sheets are not as good. For the price, you get a lot of seaweed. I have made so many California sushi rolls with these sheets and I still have more sheets - it seems neverending. I do not plan on using this brand again though. The sheets are too thin for my preference. They tend to break apart in the middle when I start rolling up the ingredients. When making gimbap or sushi rolls, I find the seaweed sheets to be too delicate. I think I prefer other brands such as Gimme...(Forgot the name of it), but definitely more pricey. I would have liked if the seaweed sheet bag it came in had a resealable zipper to keep it fresh. I use a Ziploc bag to keep it from getting stale. It seems to work pretty well.

Kids chowing down
Well judging from the fact that my kids were chowing down on sheets of these yesterday I'm guessing they are wonderful. I actually bought a bunch of these because my kids were wanting to make a sushi bake, and sushi rolls for themselves. I don't know if you've been to the grocery store lately but seaweed can be expensive so I bought it in bulk. These ended up being a great deal because if you buy seaweed in the little pack it's really expensive. And now my kids just eat it by the sheet because they like it. I guess they could be eating worse things for them so I'm not going to complain. Anyway it was a good price for the amount of seaweed that you get and it's staying fresh and nice because it reseals.
