Does not lay flat
I was very annoyed that this paper came super rolled. There is nothing I could do to flatten it. I kept it under at least 10 very big books upside down for weeks and it’s still just as rolled as it was when I got it.

Low grit - velvet feel
UART 800 sanded paper was just what I expected. A velvety finish with just enough grit to grab the pastel. Good value and yes, I’d purchase again.

Works well with Brush and Pencil fixatives and powder.
I use colored pencil on this paper. I like the way it takes multiple layers. I prefer the 800 grade best.

Great for fine work
This paper is a very good value. The paper at No. 800 has a very, very fine grade. It is perfect for high detailed work that doesn't require too many layers of chalk. I really like it for pastel pencil work where I don't need a lot of "tooth", but I need to do details using a sharp pastel pencil.

Curls
This paper is very heavily sanded. Don’t count on blending with a finger because you’ll lose fingerprints. The paper curls very badly and it can’t be uncurled.
