There are irregular gaps around the perimeter. The mother of pearl looks pretty but, sadly the construction looks cheap and like the mother of pearl could fall out at anytime. I am very disappointed. I had bought a similar earring but, on a smaller scale from tj max and the construction and quality were great and they were 9$. I wanted something larger like these but, I can’t believe the price especially matched up with this poor quality.
