I am thrilled with the flawless,deep black quality of the stone. Worked into a perfect circle, this is polished to a highly reflective surface, yet the rich quality of the black stone pulls you in as you gaze at it. It came in a very nice, heavy velvet like cloth pouch to protect it when not in use. I highly recommend this.

Purchased this piece for a gift after the great reviews. Although the item was packaged securely and the box undamaged, unfortunately the piece we received had a deep white scuff about 3/4" long on one face of the mirror along with many smaller and less deep scuffs along it, and on the reverse side the same less-deep white scuff marks. This scuffing sadly defeats the purpose of purchasing an obsidian "mirror" as it's so noticeable when looking at the piece that I'm not sure how it was missed by the company.Also, to make sure the deepest scuff wasn't an inclusion from the fact that this is a natural stone (which it at least seems to be-hence the 2 stars) I gently ran my fingernail along the surface and it is in fact a deep groove that most likely was caused by some kind of polishing tool, I'd imagine. Regardless, even it it is some kind of natural affect of the stone, it's definitely not "mirror-like" with all of these white marks on both faces of the item, and we're pretty disheartened for the price that the quality control of the item itself isn't better. Will be returning through Amazon and taking a chance on a replacement, so hopefully this is just truly a one-off situation and the replacement we receive will be of the same quality that others have seemed to receive.UPDATE***6/10/19***Received the replacement from Amazon and it was of much better quality- no large or even small visible scuffs as the previous piece received, so perhaps it was just a one-off situation. Changing review to 3 stars due to the inconsistency in what we received, but happy with replacement at least. Be potentially wary if working with a timeline or gifting like we were, but if you're lucky like most seem to have been to get a nice piece then it is quite beautiful.

My Scrying Mirror just arrived. I'm SO IMPRESSED with the extra attention Polar Jade used to send it to me! It came wrapped in bubble wrap AND foam wrap, INSIDE it's box to keep it SAFE during shipment. Its mirror finish is SO Shiny, there weren't even any fingerprints on it when I removed the wrappings! I was also surprised at the thickness. I wasn't expecting that for the price. It was a NICE SURPRISE! There's also a generous sized VELVET pouch to store it in when not in use to keep the dust off it. And Polar Jade included a bonus bag of "chakra stones" as a Thank You. I'm SO HAPPY with this purchase. I hope my mirror lasts a lifetime, but if not I would definitely buy this from them again!

Beautiful mirror. Well polished , clean edges and lovely depth of colour. The stand works great with the mirror and I appreciate the little bag of chakra stones. You can never have too many. Well and safely packaged and shipped quickly. Thank you.
