The receiver needs to be close to the transmitter.
It works great if you remember that at these frequencies it is line of sight. That means if anything gets in the way, such as a human(s), it could cause a drop out. We did our usual mic checks without a crowd and it sounded fine no problems and no drop outs. When we had a crowd it had bad drop outs and the people really weren't in the way of the signal but somehow absorbed or deflected the signal. I had to hold the receiver in the air to minimize the drop outs. I then had to move the mic receiver to the stage area. So far we had some but very few issues with it. You do get what you pay for but do not expect it to do the advertised distance under all conditions.

Incredible Value
This mic is largely on the cheaper end of the spectrum these systems can run. The bar I work for rents spaces out to customers who can either bring their own or borrow our mic system. As these systems go I was very impressed with the sound for the price we paid. We ran karaoke on it for around 6 hours and didn't experience a single blip in sound or technical issues. I have never had a problem with Nady, and this microphone system is no different. I was very excited as it is the cheapest model of their I have had the chance to own, but this had no effect on the quality of sound or ease of use.

Basic. Affordable. Good Quality.
This is not a studio or pro quality mic. But, it's not over $400.00USD. It is a basic workable mic at an affordable price. The mic and receiver are solid in the hand. Hand noise from the mic can be detected, but is not excessive. Range is limited (below recommended) and is unobstructed line of sight. Less than 50' is best. Setup is easy. Sound is full and balanced.

Unreliable on-off switch
Bought in July 2018 for about $200 and now the on-off switch started malfunctioning - came and see $40 price drop and just informed support - no complain about quality as it worked very well until switch went bad. now with bad switch - 1) just touch of a hand it switches off in stead of hard press - that makes this not suitable for public performance 2) after hard press it switches off but i see green light and it drains whole battery

Simple Not-Too-Many Buttons, Small Receiver, with Good Sound
The price on these wireless microphones has come down where wired microphones are rarely needed. The cost for a wired mic AND THE WIRES make them about the same price! I have used a few of these over the years. I bought a wireless mic about 8 years ago. It came with a receiver the size of a router, lots of confusing buttons, and it was around $1,000. This Nady mic has a receiver a little bigger than a pack of cigarettes and very light weight. The mic on this Nady is just as solid and accurate sounding as the more expensive one. The old one had to be tuned to an exact frequency; this one has channels 1, 2 3 ... . The back back panel has three jacks: power (for the included power cord) and mic input and line input (for whether the amp or mixer you are going to requires either input, it would be labeled or you would know). The mic-in and line-in plugs take a 1/4" phone plug and included are the short cables needed: a phone-to phone cord and a phono-to-XLR (3-prong) mic cable. The sound reproduction for voice is good, but remember the main thing in sound reproduction is the amp. I have not tested this microphone with singing or an acoustic musical instrument.I hooked this microphone up to a multi-input "party" amplifier that has also come down in price (around $100). I can use this setup for presentations when I need to bring my own equipment. This means I don't have to rely a customer's in-house equipment which sometime (often) does not work well or sometimes isn't even set up. Wireless looks better and is pretty standard now.No drawbacks to this thing except maybe the odd dark-olive green color of the microphone (the head is black mesh). It even comes with 2 AA batteries. I love this thing.

Excellent Performance and Value
I am a pastor and our church is beginning to buy some wireless mics to replace our existing ones that operate in the 600mhz frequency service band that is being phased out of wireless mic usage by the FCC. Most of our older mics are Sennheisers and cost more than this Nady DW-100. We had a chance to set this one up and test it against one of our comparable Sennheiser mics running them both through the same board with the same EQ settings. I found the Nady to have a more appealing baseline sound, with a bit of a warmer overall presentation and a little bit punchier, fuller sound. It wasn't night and day, but the difference was noticeable, both to my layman's ears and to my more trained and experienced music guy. The wireless receiver operates quietly and cleanly and the range is as claimed. The mic build seems very sturdy and durable. Definitely happy with the solid performance and excellent value, and will likely being going back to this mic as we continue the gradual replacement of our older mics. Pretty excited to have a mic that sounds better but costs less.

Works very well, easy to use but there are cheapter options out there!
I've been looking for a wireless mic system as plugging into my old wired setup and amp is starting to show it's age and I needed a system with multiple channels. The Nady DW-100 is simple to use, you have a mic-in and line-in and of course the power jack. And the great news is that Nady also included other cables to help one get started.I actually tested this on my electric guitar amp, my monitors and also on a mixer. All worked perfectly.Haven't had any issues with interference and the fact that it comes with 100 channels is a major plus.I do recommend investing in Eneloop Batteries/charger for the AA batteries. Please note, that there are competitors that offer a bit more than the Nady (and much cheaper), so do your research especially with Amazon pricing fluctuations. But NADY is a reputable brand and for the basic functions it offers, for those needing a wireless receiver and a wireless Mic, it's a pretty solid wireless microphone system.
