American Headway 4 Student Book & CD Pack

The book is very good,particularly the grammar exercises which get to fundamental usage very well by leading the student to work out the whys and wherefores for themselves with minimal leading. The listening is good too-however,my teachers book is not specific as to the edition,and sometimes the material does not correlate exactly: and the CD track numbers are different too causing initial confusion. Maybe the sales reps,who are very helpful, should be better informed about the discrepancies.I still like the book, and recommend it.

This is for high intermediate level students. Varieties of topics make you enjoy reading the textbook. Most of topics are based on the youngsters might be familiar with like Twitter, backpacker, Starbucks and others. These don't contain breaking news or any technically difficult materials so you can understand them and easily guess the terms when you found you don't know.
