FenderShort Scale Bass Gig Bag

Well made.
The case is well made and a good value.However. I ordered it for a Fender Jaguar short scale bass and it was too small. The case was about an inch too short and about an inches too narrow at the headstock. Consequently I returned it.

Perfect fit for concert size Fender CC-60S
This review is for the Fender FAC610 Classical Guitar Gig Bag. I was a little skeptical before ordering this for my concert size Fender CC-60S, but I am really glad that I did because it is a perfect fit!!!There aren't many reviews for this model online so here's my impressions:1. The quality of material is really good. Outer shell, zippers & inner padding all good for the price.2. The fender logo looks really nice.3. It's really light weight and easy to carry around with the handle.4. Front pocket is useful for storing guitar accessories.5. The inner padding is enough for storing the guitar safely & light travel. I will recommend getting a one with more padding if someone needs to carry this around regularly.Overall, I am really satisfied with the purchase; and not to mention that I got it on discount, and it arrived quicker than initially estimated!!

Awesome bag.
This is the exact same bag being sold by Fender but this one is almost half the price. Extremely well made and fits my Fender Dreadnaught guitar like a glove. Soft micro fiber inside and very heavy duty exterior with heavy duty zippers. Several pouches to store tuner, picks, and much more for traveling. Couldn’t be happier with this gig bag.

Very protective indeed, but with a couple of school-boy design errors.
Brilliant protection for your acoustic or electro/acoustic guitar but with some daft design choices. This is when design does NOT follow function properly. A pocket on the front that can't take an A4 book or sheet flat (what size are tuition books or sheet music Fender???) and positioning of the straps too far down the case making the use of one shoulder strap impossible without dropping the guitar. On the great side, the padding in this bag is very dense making it far more effective than most 10mm padded bags, the 600 denier outer material is excellent too and the plastic bits that touch the ground when you put it down promote a long life of use for sure.Really, these are school-boy errors Fender. This must come from the employment of designers who don't play guitar, and without checking by giving the prototype product to those who use it. Such a shame to not get the design right.

Keepin' it tweed
Great quality gig bag to replace a cheap and nasty PVC bag I used to keep my Telecaster in. I love the Fender Tweed stuff and having bought the tweed strap I wanted to get the case to match too (though sadly couldn't afford £130 for the tweed hard case, which looks great). Only knocking off a star as the colour of the tweed isn't exactly the same colour as the strap, but fairly close (see photo for comparison). That doesn't really matter to most people, I'd have thought.Other than that, it seems like a great quality case for the money. Tough fabric, good bit of padding, and includes top handle and rucksack style straps. The zip goes all up the side rather than just at the bottom end like some cases, so it's easy to take your guitar in and out. Inside there's a nice red fabric which doesn't catch onto things like my old case, and a bit of tweed patching to reinforce the areas that will sit on top of your headstock and bridge. The front pocket is handy too, and includes an address window, elasticated pocket and a zip up mesh pocket which aren't mentioned in the description.Maybe best to get the hard case if you're chucking it in a van where it might get squashed or bashed about, but this is fine for keeping it dust-free in the house and carrying it to places in the car or on foot.

Fits my Redondo guitar
Bought this for very occasional external travel with my guitar. Was shipped flat in a large cardboard box (I guess the box was big enough to ship a dreadnought guitar) which seemed a bit excessive seeing as the bag is soft and probably could have been folded in half.Guitar fits like a glove, which you'd expect as it's a Fender bag designed for their dreadnought size guitars (which the Redondo is).Only small gripe (hence the 4*'s rather than 5*'s) is that the padded side near the carry handle has been crushed at some stage (elsewhere it is fairly rigid given it's obviously some form of foam material). This doesn't stop the bag being used.Overall pleased ith this bag and the price paid for it.

Top quality padded gig bag for mini-electric guitar
I've just uploaded my 5 star review of the Squier Mini Strat (stunningly good instrument). I decided to treat myself to this case and have been as pleased with it as I am with the guitar. It is very well-made and adequately padded for both storage and general moving-around. Because of its design and shape, the front pouch is not large enough to take an A4 book nor sheet of music. (almost, but not quite). However, there is room inside the case if you put your book or music under the guitar to help keep it flat. If you have a mini-electric guitar, this case is well worth checking out. I've uploaded 3 photos of it plus one other which uses two of the same images but were part of a sequence that I attached to my review of the Squier mini Strat.
