We bought 2 (16.99 ea) of these to give as gifts. My 11 year old was super excited to play with hers but once this toy was charged and ready to go it was over. Each time when switching to ON position the toy flies right up to the ceiling and does not come down at all. After one day the toy stopped working. Whether or not this is a defective toy I cannot gift the other one to my niece. Grateful I didn't buy 2 more for my younger nephews. Please Do Not Waste Your Time/Money. I'm pretty sure there are better manufacturer/brands out there but this particular brand is not it. Would've been helpful if product information listed 'Made in China.' So just in case if this review goes unnoticed I've gone ahead and asked the seller but am awaiting feedback response. In this way hopefully interested buyers will read the questions/answers. Right out of the box, this thing worked flawlessly. I turned on the switch, the blades started to spin, and it took off. I got it to float around for about 20 seconds. After about 20 seconds it got too close to a wall and clipped a wing. The whole unit came down and 1 wing busted off, as well as 1 attachment piece (I think used for weight balance) came off. I was able to snap these pieces back on (thank goodness I saw the pieces, because the one was smaller than a fingernail clipping). Once I got it back together it flew for another 5-10 seconds and went sideways until it fell again. This time, it would not work again. I charged it for about 3 hours and attempted to use it again... no luck. Will not turn on/fly. The remote included never worked either. I do not recommend. Would be very disappointing as a gift to someone (especially a child).

We bought the Flying Balls for my grandchildren and a niece and nephew. After they arrived I have determined that I am going to have to buy more. We opened one of the balls to see how it worked. Well I have found out that cats love the Flying balls. They chased and we laughed. Thank you for a wonderful product, I know the kids will love them.

My grandchildren loved these. The adults too. Best gift of the season.

Wish I had this when I was growing up...my niece loved this toy and learned how to use it within seconds!

Read the whole box and the directions. Nothing says this is an indoor toy only, it's suppose to come down until it senses something and then it goes up or sideways to move away.Played with it inside for maybe 5 minutes and got scared because it would fall from decent heights and smack the hardwood floor. So we took it outside. Turned it on and it bounced off my hand and shot straight up into the air. Kept going and going and started to carry with the drafts and winds. Tried pushing the key button to stop it, but that only works within a few feet; outside of 15 feet it doesnt connect to shut it down. I chased it for a mile,thinking it would come down after a certain height, it was suppose to, as it states in the directions. Never happened. It went up and up passed the clouds until you couldn't see it and was gone. Waited and walked around the general area I thought it would fall down to, as the wind had carried it, and it never came. Asked anyone I could see outside but no one heard or saw it. I'm sure eventually the battery will die and it will come down somewhere in the mountains (live by a ski resort), it seriously went that far and high before I lost sight.Total joke. Nothing on the box or directions state it will do this and not to take it outside. In fact, it says it will go up to a certain height and fall in your kids hands. Its suppose to come down and sense when something is underneath it and then hover and move away from it. It is not suppose to take off and never come back down.

This was a gift for my 16 yr old grandson. He balked when he saw it because it looks cheap. It didn't come with instructions. First day it kept hitting the ceiling. Second time he took it outside and it took off. He never found it again. I feel obligated to get him somedthing better since this was so lame.

Bought this drone for every kid in my family this past Christmas. It was by far the most popular gift which is my goal every year! This is an awesome, super fun, cool gift especially for the fair price. I was very pleasantly surprised at how sturdy these were!
