Starlite Nylon Lycra Skirted Sissy Leotard

Perfect fit, exactly the same as the ones the ballet school sells, but cheaper!

I bought this skirted leotard for my 3 year old daughter. She's tall for her age and not a skinny child - not fat, though. I bought size 4-6 because I usually buy her age 5-6 in clothes, due to her height. I'd say if you choose the size you would normally buy for your child to grow into, you will be okay. This leotard fits her perfectly, but will probably only fit her for another year, if that. Saying that, I'm very sure it would fit an average 3 year old child very well and give them room to grow, thus saving some money later on. The stretchy fabric used for this type of dancewear means you can buy for a smaller child and get a couple of years use.The fabric washes and dries without any fuss and the leotard itself is very well made.If you're looking for a leotard that has a skirt higher up the tummy, this isn't it. Often you need to buy a plain leotard together with a separate skirt to ensure it is set on your child's waist. When my daughter is a little older I will probaly do this, as most of the all-in-ones position the skirt fairly low on the hips. However, when you're buying for a very young child, an all-in-one avoids the problem of your child constantly fiddling with the skirt or taking it off completely during dance lessons. In hindsight, I wish I'd bought the larger size, but I'm still happy all round with the item and service from the seller.

I bought the lilac and mulberry leotard with skirt for my 2 daughters. They are 7 and 9 years old.I was quite hard to choose the size which I have to order with all the reviews I have read. But I made the right decision to buy for both the size 7-9 years. My 9 year old is almost the same size as my 7 year old.7 year old: body length:123 cm, torso length: 48.5 cm.9 year old: body length: 120.5 cm, torso length: 47 cm.The lilac colour is beautiful at a light skin and the mulberry colour is nice for a darker skin. My daughters are mulatto/half-blooded.I hope this will be the best review for this leotard. So If you buy any other size please write down the body length and torso length, that is the most helpful way than writing down that your daughter is of an average size or what ever.

The quality of the leotard is good. The company provide a great service. However, the sizing of this is tiny. The costume that arrived for my four-year old looked almost baby-size. The first one was a present and i thought the gift-giver had accidentally chosen the wrong size. However, when i re-ordered, it was the same one... I know they stretch but within a month a hole appeared along the front seam and my daughter could no longer wear it as it was digging in to her shoulders (cruel mother I am to have made her wear it!!) She is slightly above average height and slender, but I wouldn't expect the sizing to be quite so out. I'll have to order one probably two sizes bigger if the 00 is anything to go by!

My almost-9-year old fit perfectly into a size 10-11 leotard. She's average size, so pay attention to the other reviews and definitely size up! If you have a larger/taller-than-average child, you might need to go two sizes bigger. A little most costly than others, but worth paying for. Speedy delivery and a lovely product, happy Mum, happy kid.

So I actually bought this to customise as I’ve got a fancy dress coming up and I’m going as Anne wheeler from the greatest showman. Even though I’ve cut it up a bit the fit is perfect, colours great and it’s comfy

First purchase on amazon!!! Went pretty well, products arrived faster than estimated (me being from Romania), which was great. I followed the other recommendations and purchased one size bigger - great advice! A little problem with the color - i ordered hyacinth, but it's kind of a light blue, i expected some lilac-blue mixture. It's great that it has the skirt altogether!

Fantastic fit and really pretty.My daughter has a long body so I went a size up and it’s perfect.
