I was very happy with the product. I got exactly what was being advertised. They worked great the first night that I took them out for a test spin at my local roller rink. I ordered a size 11 because I have a wide foot even though a size 10 would fit better lengthwise. The skates are roomy in the foot and I can wiggle my toes. They are comfortable and I didn’t even have to add extra cushion support inside of it. The tongue is a little hard up against the front of your ankle but I think with time the tongue will soften up . This is my second pair of Rydell skates, and I am very happy with their products.

Excellent value for the money and for what you get. I got them setup and I stood up on the carpet with no problem, but then I moved over to the kitchen flooring and got about five feet and fell to the floor hard...lol Very fast if you ask me and pretty awesome! Sure, it's not genuine leather but for a hundred bucks what do you expect. I was anticipating a cheap low quality pair of skates but instead I received way more than what I expected. You can't do much about the boot but I replaced the toe stops with a pair of Gumball stops and I got rid of the shoe laces. The laces are not the right type and belong on a pair of hiking boots. I replaced them with a real cool looking pair of black and white "Derby Laces Style Wide 10mm Waxed Lace for Roller Skates", and the skates now look super cool, take a look for yourself. I don't know about the other guys with the bad reviews but I'm very happy with my pair of speed skates. I love the way they look. Again, you get what you pay for but in my opinion, with these you get much more. I highly recommend these skates for any beginner or somebody just getting back into skating again. Be warned, these are not a toy and are the real deal.

These skates were very comfortable and have great wheels and bearings.I hadn't used roller skates in years and when I put these on it was almost like I had never stopped.Highly recommend

I'm using the Riedell Skates for beginner roller derby. I'm very happy with them.To choose my size I followed the chart in the images. I bought one size down from my normal US size. I normally wear a 9 and I bought 8. They fit great.The laces that come with the skates are 54 inches long. I replaced them with 42 inch laces. I found the 54" lace's to have an excessive loop.The wheels are really hard and great for use on a roller rink. If you want to use them outside you need to purchase softer wheels.They come with a tool that fits all bolts and the wheels etc.As soon as you add these to your shopping cart immediately also add toe protectors. I wore them twice and already scuffed them in a fall. Don't be me. Protect your new shoes.

If you already know how to stand and roll, and you have no intention of going past recreational skating (defined as not competing, official roller derby, sanctioned races, etc) then these could be the only skates you ever have to buy. But there are pros and cons to these skates one should consider.(1) No ankle support and very low heel. Bad for newbies and challenging for beginners. They are speed skates, after all, even if most speed skating is done on inlines these days.(2) The skates are heavy because the trucks are 100% aluminum. The R3 has lighter nylon trucks but is probably not a good option if you weigh more than 150 pounds. The next model with lighter metal trucks is nearly four times more expensive and intended for competitive skating. That these are all heavy is not all bad—they transfer power very well and you will build up strength in your legs for sure.(3) They will feel narrow but new laces (see below) will fix that.(4) The shoes are nylon. Fine for recreation, and training, and your nylon boots can be molded to your feet easily. Search the internet for how to do that. You will see one of the main disadvantages of nylon trucks when you do.(5) Round shoe laces are useless. Throw them out immediately and buy flat waxed laces. Better yet, buy the waxed laces when you buy these skates. Used the laces that come with these skates for your work or hiking boots because that is what they are. They are NOT skating laces.(6) The shoe laces secure the feet. The velcro straps secure the shoelaces, which is extremely important as you do not want laces loose and tangled in your wheels. But do NOT count on the velcro strap to secure your feet. Again, they are meant to tie the laces. Pulling too hard on the strap may damage the belt and wear out the velcro prematurely.(7) The wheels are excellent. A professional might want better wheels, but these are the best a non-competitor recreational skater will ever need. They are too good, fast, and hard for outdoor use. If you're buying these skates for outdoor use as well, you will ironically need to buy softer, slower wheels for the outdoors, 76A-78A.(8) You need to buy toe covers. They don't have to invest in full-grain leather. $8-$10 for a pair of cheap PU leather toe covers is all you need but you WILL need to cover up those toes or you will mar ups these boots badly and fast especially if you skate outdoors.Finally: ANY pair of skates at ANY price point will have pros and cons. These are the best REAL most respected skates at this price point, bar none.

Great skates for the casual skater. Do not buy the cheaper skates. These are the better entry level skates. I have medium width feet and the toe was not too tight. Once I adjusted the wheel nuts and toe stop with the tool provided, huge difference over rental skates.

Love these skates after adjusting. I had to move the toe stops all the way up because they would catch the ground as I skated. I can see from other reviews that they had broke off and I see why, easy fix and now I’m confident that they are staying put. I bought them because they are similar to my 35year old riedell skates that are tired.

Son muy cómodos, traen su llave para ajustar las ruedas y los trucks, el tope es ajustable a la altura que quieras, la talla es correcta. Cuidado si quieres hacer una devolución o un cambio te cobrarán cargos de importación.
