Accusize Industrial Tools Wcmt32.51 Tin Coated Carbide Inserts, 10 Pcs/Box, 2139-1024x10

I'm pretty new to the world of carbide inserts, so I don't have much to compare them to. However, I've found these inserts cut very well on various grades of steel. Messing around with feed rates and RPMs has produced surface finishes that I've never quite been able to achieve with HSS tooling. While they aren't cheap, It beats having to grind tooling from scratch- a process that I was never truly able to master.I purchased these looking to replace an Accusize SWGCR08-2J insert that I chipped. Etched on the side of the tool, it calls for a WCMT22.52 insert and I purchased these hoping they'd fit even though they were listed on amazon as WCMT2.52. They fit perfectly, and thanks to same day shipping I'm back to making chips in the basement.Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with Accusize products. I recently purchased their broaching set and cut my first 3/16" keyway in dies I'm making and it also worked great.
