LEGO Kids Jurassic World Claire Analogue Classic Quartz Watch with Plastic Strap 8021278

I bought it for my nephew who is 6 yo. He loved it so much :) happy with it!

This is a Jurassic World themed Lego watch that comes with a Claire mini figure. When I heard about a Lego watch I imagined something bulky and gimmicky, but this is actually a very cute watch. It comes with additional links so you can make the strap longer for an older child. It is easy to put together and seems pretty durable. The watch face is a decent size and it is easy to read the numbers.

Despite the relatively odd niche that this watch fills, I can't find any major issues with it. At a very basic level it is still a construction toy, since the watch strap must be partially disassembled and rebuilt before use and each link can be unclipped to get the right fit. The clips are quite easy to clip on or off and still retain good connectivity once together.The watch dial is quite small and compact, not too obtrusive from the strap width - this is great for children who are more prone to bumps and knocks. It's all hard plastic, so don't expect a this to look classy, it is more of a toy in it's look and feel. It is very lightweight, which is good for children too.Telling the time is simple, the hands are white against the Lego Jurassic World backdrop. However, the 11, 12 and 1 are white text on a light blue backdrop, which are harder to see, so good clock awareness would be beneficial. It does include a second hand, but no other dials or information clutters the display.The camouflage style strap is a bit garish, although in line with the theme of the watch. It aims for gender neutral, although the female figurine widens the appeal further.At full price, for Lego branded merchandise, this is ok value. The box presentation is good, the watch functional and well themed, however it does feel like a cheap, plastic watch which isn't too much of an issue considering the target market.

Great fun and very cool. All the individual links clip in so it can be perfectly tailored to size, and with all the links in it's pretty big, and would easily fit an adult wrist, down to a small childs.The recommended age is 6 which I would agree with because of small parts.Clip fastening, the links are self assembly so you don't need any extra tools.A very cool watch!

We've had a couple of these in the past. They're nice watches for children, with a straightforward to read dial.They are quite lightweight, but strong enough. The strap is easy to adjust too.Recommended!

This is fairly chunky on a small wrist but the detailing is good - it's still in effect a Lego toy as you need to "build" the strap (plenty of links, so could fit an adult) with a Claire (Jurassic Park) minifigure. Our son can't tell the time yet so it won't be something he'll wear anytime soon but he does like dismantling and reassembling the strap!

This is a somewhat unusual item and refreshingly for a 'girls' watch it isn't pink. Full marks for that, Lego. The strap is assembled so there is a 'toy' aspect to this. I also like that the watch is analogue and not digital. The size is good too. A bit of a niche item but for the right child it will hit the mark.

My nearly 6 year old daughter is just learning how to tell the time (something that we are encouraging at home as we hear that children/teenagers can read an analogue clock anymore due to using mobile phones to tell the time). She also loves Lego, I mean who doesn't??So this watch has been really well received. She loved the idea of "building" her own watch and then wearing it all day. As a parent, I also like the fact that it is not pink at all and that shows an woman explorer (from Jurassic Park) on the strap and the dial.Definitely recommended!
