The Syntax Workbook: A Companion to Carnie's Syntax 1st Edition

Good book for my class. Also cheaper to buy here.

Nice supplement with the book as it gives example problems AND answers. Saved my ass a few times.

The material is good but it's sometimes really hard to read it on a Kindle.

Great companion workbook to the book. It helped me get a good grasp on the syntactic principles I was learning about and helped me to practice drawing trees, and got me thinking critically about syntax.

My professor did not recommend the workbook but I found it to be a helpful companion to Andrew Carnie's "Syntax" book.

The book does not explain the exercises as I expected.

The exercises are simple and to the point, the answers too, and it covers all the basics from phrase structure to VP shells and control. It also links to additional material on wiley. I am very happy to have bought both books together, they really make sense together.

Great that the font is clear. Easy to search terms or phrases and the easily accessible dictionary are helpful. The search for phrases is not as good as a search engine. It has to b3 exact or it excludes sentences with the term in no caps or in abbreviations.

Tardó mucho en llegar. Un libro muy útil para aquellos que estudien el Grado en estudios ingleses y poder poner en práctica lo aprendido en sintaxis.

Herramienta imprescindible para aprobar la asignatura más dificil del grado de estudios ingleses de la Uned. Sobre todo en relación a los temas más espinosos: dp y wh movement.

El color difiere un poco pero me gusta , así como la apertura de mangas, no es ni la mitad de la chica en la foto, es por debajo del sujetador lo cual me ha gustado, te tapa alguna que otra lorcita. Buena calidad para el precio
