A very good book, gives one lots to think about.

Gives incite into what is Pope Francis all about and what makes him tick. I feel we have a saint in our mist and like all saints, he is going to shake us out of our comfort zone and make us look at our brothers with love instead of suspicion.

Are you acting as a disciple of God? Are you trusting Him? This book will challenge you to be a better follower.

Pope Francis is truly a loving father. He is a man of the present guiding us in how to share God's amazing love and joy with others. Edward Sri is a master author!

This is an excellent resource for understanding Evangelii Gaudium, the Joy of the Gospel. It reads easily and brings in additional information about Pope Francis.

I purchased this book yesterday at a local Barnes and Noble. The cover, having his picture and name with the title of his book next to it, was deceiving to me. I didn't read the reviews on back or investigate it close enough, so I assumed it actually was Pope Francis' book. I was disappointed when I realized it wasn't. The author didn't even bother to get the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur, so it will have to be returned. It may be a good book, but it's NOT Pope Francis' book. I don't need an interpreter for Pope Francis since he speaks plainly and I especially don't want an interpretation that doesn't even have official approval of the Church. Just be aware that there are several books I've noticed on here that are similar. If you want the real macoy make sure it says it's "BY: Pope Francis" and doesn't just have his name on the cover. I only gave one star because of the reasons I listed, but I didn't read the book.

I love this book about Pope Francis. It captures the heart behind the Papacy of Pope Francis and his Apostolic Exhortation, Evangelii Gaudium. This book is a simple little resource that communicates the urgency of the New Evangelization while forming the everyday Catholic in Pope Francis' vision for a Church of Missionary Disciples. On top of that, it's a fairly short, easy, and accessible read.This will be pulled off of my bookshelf and used as a resource often! Highly recommended.
