The Best RF Controller for LED Lighting
I decided to install under cabinet single color led lighting in my kitchen and didn't want to use the typical IR receivers that come with them, just found them to be a pain in the butt. So I looked for a while on Amazon and came across this LEDENET RF controller and though it only had two 5 star reviews, I took my chance and bought one and though it feels kind of cheap, it works flawlessly.I really like the controller, it came with a wall mount, so I was able to mount it near my kitchen light switches. I really love the dimming effect it does when turning on and off. Very cool!I'm working a new project that uses color LEDs, so I might try their color version.Highly would recommend RF controller.

Very nice indeed
I rarely write product reviews, but here I am, because this product surprised me.This product is to be the bones for a high-power, remotely controlled, portable lighting system. Upon receipt of this unit, I powered it up quickly, just to confirm that the product was functional. It was.My application for this unit required me to open it, and I was pleasantly surprised when I did. This is not the usual Chinese junk that I've come to expect. This thing is actually quite nice. The PCB is of high quality. The MOSFET transistors that deliver power to the load are SQD50N's. This is a very good transistor, and is representative of the overall quality of this unit. While the manufacturer of this device specs a 3 amp load per each of three channels, considerably more load can be put on the MOSFETS, if it's done correctly. This demonstrates to me the quality consciousness of the manufacturer, stating a conservatively rated output power spec. It's quite refreshing.Needless to say I'll be ordering a few more of these. For the price I can't go wrong.

Essential for a fully hidden installation
This is a review for the M7 RGB controller. Purchased to replace a crappy IR driver that came with the RGB tape light set I bought for my dad's kitchen cove lighting. Got an extension for the 4-wire RGB cable as well as replacement end connectors, snaked it from the cove to the cabinet over the microwave. Powered an additional receptacle controlled by a switch and I'm very pleased with its function. Controlling it with a switch instead of just on/off with the RF remote works well, it will fade nicely into the last color or preset you were using. Only thing is that if you're using the fade setting it doesn't fade in so gracefully. Good thing about the RF remote is you don't have to have an ugly little IR eye sticking out and you can point the controller anywhere. And the remote has decent range too, tested in the other room and it works perfectly. Only thing to keep in mind is that you will need to hard wire this to a 12v power supply, which is not included.

Not bad
This thing.. where to start. It should come with a screw driver that small for those ports. I struggled to find a screw driver. After hooking it up, I really like it. I had problems with an IR remote and wanted an RF one to fix that. The lights have a smooth on/off "animation". It gives it a premium feel. The remote itself.. is ok. You can not switch the color easily after it's been sitting for a while. You have to "wake" it up and then the color wheel activates. I'm sure this is for battery conservation, but kind of a nuisance. Also, picking a color is somewhat challenging. It is SENSITIVE. I find the color I want and in the motion of lifting my finger, it switches to a nearby color. There is a color button that switches through the spectrum, but the idea was to be able to hand select from the remote.Overall, I like it. It could be better, but for the price, it's fine.

needs work
color selection between cool/warm white is ok, the bad is anytime you change the color it automatically returns you to full brightness, which is at best annoying, but when trying to find that "perfect color temp" it's impossible to do with it dimmed. also it doesn't dim down nearly as far as other remotes/switches I've installed, had to return it because it wouldn't go low enough for my client.. I'd estimate lowest setting is probably 12-15% of full brightness.the remote color wheel is also very touchy, basically any time you causally pick it up you end up touching the color wheel by accident which returns it full brightness and you have to start all over getting it to the right color setting and then clicking the dimming button a dozen times to get it back to where it was.only thing I can really recommend this for it mounted to the wall out of the way where no one will accidentally touch it.auto rotating feature that slowly fades from warm to cool white could be cool for display cases or something

Works well, very reliable
Had this for over a year now as a controller for under-cabinet LED strips - works very well. I think the best feature is the wireless RF remote control. Most of similar product on the market are using infrared remote controls. RF wireless is a huge advantage as its performance not affected by light condition and aiming direction. You can even hide it behind something or built it in to the wall or a cabinet and it will work perfectly. The rainbow colors circle works OK-ish, sometimes you need to push a different button on the remote to "wake-it-up" otherwise the circle will not react to your finger. I guess it just goes into sleep mode to preserve battery life so that makes sense and is not an issue for me personally. Once I setup the color I desire, I would rarely need to adjust it again (in my application). Only after my kids find the remote and start playing with the colors :-).

Great little remote and controller
Great little remote and controller. So far so Good I just hooked it up. I like how it has the ability to Pair with other units so if you have RGB in diffrent location you can pair 1 remote to control multi Rbg controllers and the wall mount remote holder is a nice piece also
