Sunset Western Garden Book Paperback – January 1, 1988

Sometimes hard to find what you're looking for in the pages, but EXCELLENT advice for new or experienced gardeners when choosing what to plant. Especially like the suggestions for plants in different areas of the country with different weather needs.

My husband loves his copy of Sunset Garden book so much that I’m surprised he doesn’t sleep with it. This is his first veggie garden & he can’t believe how much information on so many plants are now at his fingertips. It is a fantabulous book. Ours got here promptly in perfect new condition.

What can I say. This is a classic. Took my first edition (1988 version) to a plant swap (2015) and it disappeared. This was ordered as a replacement. I could not go a year without it. Every Western Gardener should have this in their library.

It doesn't matter which publication year you have, this book is a must for every household.

Great information. I have used an older version for years.

When I purchased this publication, I assumed this would be the most updated edition. Because of the subject matter and climate change, it is important for gardeners to get the most current information for their growing zones. A 32 year old book of this nature is not helpful and should not be offered up for sale. I have found the most recent edition of this publication to be 2012. I am returning this volume.
