Fits perfectly
If you need a replacement hinge to keep a door closed or to prevent it swinging shut, this is the answer. Hinge size and mounting hole layout perfectly matches standard hinges, so replacement is a snap.

Look nice. Work well. Shipping took a long time, but hopefully they will fix this.
I received two spring hinges, a plethora of wood screws or metal bolts to be used for either application and ONE wrench. Two wrenches are pictured in the ad, so I found this somewhat disappointing because I like what I receive to be exactly what is pictured. Inconsistencies are irritating. I only really needed one to do the install, but I tend to strip allen wrenches and am always needing replacements so I would have been happy to have a spare. It is especially easy to strip allen wrenches during the installation of spring hinges as they experience a great deal of torque. But I'm going to be generous and not remove a star for this minor irritation, though it was a near miss.HOW I INSTALLED: First things first, I attached them to the door. (Make sure the allen wrench hole is facing up!) I removed one hinge, put a new hinge on. Removed the next hinge and put the next one on. I never even took the door down. I didn't need to. I was able to use half of the original holes from the spring hinges I was replacing. The wood screws went in easy and the door hung fine. I do have three hinges on my door. Three or more hinges would be necessary to do this.IMPORTANT NOTE: The screws kind of look like Phillips. They are NOT. If you use a Phillips head you will strip them. I figured this out quickly, after ruining one. They are designed to be used with a square head. Hopefully you have one sitting around. If you don't you may want to find one to borrow/buy.I had to drill new holes in the metal door for the different pattern of the new hinges. I had never done this before, but I think I have it down now. I installed the hinge on the wood door frame first then opened it so that it touched the metal door. I installed two bolts that had matching holes to the new hinge. Then I used a small bit and got some good speed before letting it touch the metal in the center of the space and made a good deep pilot mark. Then I increased the bit size to 1/8" and finished it with a 9/64" bit. I broke one of the bolts during my learning process, so I'm a little worried about quality, but it might not have mattered. I've broken really nice screws too. The rest went in smoothly.Tightening the spring: You only really need the Allen wrench, a pin and maybe a pair of needle nose plyers. The set didn't come with a "rod" of any kind, mentioned in many How To's and I found, I didn't really need it. You tighten the spring by inserting the Allen wrench into the topside of the hinge and moving it clockwise. You will feel the tension increase. Then you use the pin, insert it into the hole to hold the place. You remove the Allen wrench and repeat. I tried to match the tension in both the top and bottom hinges. I added just enough tension to make the door gently close and latch. I'm a small person and I do not have strong hands. This was the best that I could do. If I decide it needs to close more strongly, I'm going to have to find someone with stronger hands to do it for me. For now, though, it is doing the job it was designed to do keeping my garage door shut despite the many ins and outs it gets daily. I'm satisfied.

They work
A real and rare pleasure to get truth in advertising. These hinges are sold as heavy duty and they are indeed heavy enough to handle the doors on a Jumbo Jet hangar. However, they work and the installation hardware matches the rest being nothing but "solid" .

Easy and effective
So far works like a charm. Easy install and adjusting pin position to get at perfect tension. Best to replace 3 hinges on three hinge doors and don’t loose the limited number of tiny pins when you open the box.

Have a Chisel Handy to install
Bought these to put on the garage door exit to the trash cans. They are exactly the same size as the originals in width and height and the holes line up perfectly. Only thing is, they are thicker than the ones on the door and if you don't get out the hammer and chisel and dig out the depth the door won't close as the hinges push the whole door over towards the handle side. Few minutes with a wood chisel and they work. Not enough spring tension to close door completely when there is a storm door on the outside. Pressure slows the door down enough that the springs don't lock the door. But we can live with that!

Door Hinges
I measured the existing hinges and also made sure the holes were the same. The installation was easy and they work well

Both pins were missing
Both pins were not in the package and it's kinda useless without the pins. I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it so used small screws I had at home to make it work. Overall good products. Not sure who to blame for missing parts.
