Suggest use cooled / boiled water and fill to the top - then using finger and thumb gently squeeze the top of the filling hole until the 2 x sides touch and that will expel just the right amount of water so that they freeze correctly without overflowing.To separate then insert the back of a knife between the halves to split, then using the back of a knife to run around the edge of the mould, the 2 x halves easily open.Make a dozen or so through the week and store in the freezer for later use / party.Best used in a Whiskey tumbler / slim Jim glass - in a Gin glass they do not chill the drink enough on their own.

It does the job! The ice ball that comes out won't be clear (because its not uni-directional freezing) but for the value you shouldn't expect it!The size is slightly smaller than the diameter of a whisky glass.

These are amazing, Been looking for these for awhile, bought a couple of these few years ago and wanted some more to give as a present. Last ages so u dont have to keep going to the freezer for a top up .. recommend. 👌🏻

Après avoir cassé les premières, j ai enfin trouvé la technique pour les enlever. Maintenant, ça donne un très bel effet lorsque je place déjà les arômes dans le glaçon et que je le sers dans les gins.
