Muddle and Match: Adventure

My daughter loved the superhero match book so much I wanted to get her another book in the series. What I love about the superhero version is that it has both male and female superheroes. The adventure book is a bit of a disappointment because every single character is male. I want books that empower my daughter; when all the characters who go on adventures are boys the unwritten message is that girls don’t go on adventures. So I change the names of some of the characters sonny—>Sonia, Rocky to Roxie etc. Other than that it is a good book.

My children love all the muddle and match books. They’re super cute and fun books to read. Sadly, while reading the adventure one for the first time my 5 year old daughter noticed there are no girl characters in the adventure book. It’s a shame that in the 21st century authors don’t think female characters can be adventurous.

My preschool class cannot get enough of these books. They love to flip through the pages and mix match bodies with the characters that are in the book.

Received exactly what I expected but received several days before estimated delivery date. Extremely satisfied!

These books make great car trip items. Children work at making all kids of different images with the flip pages. Would recommend this book to anyone with children.

Sometimes it can be hard to find fun stuff for boys, but this book is great. It's fun, got a lot of characters, and there are bright colors.

Fun books, great for the imagination.
