Q: Does this work with bass?

Yes, it does. The US Madness is originally designed for bass. But after getting the prototype, we found that it sounded surprisingly good with guitars. It has that Twin vibe in it. That's when we decided to market it as a guitar thing. But it can definitely work with bass. No problem about that!

Q: How do i get rid of rhe white noise in the background?

i had the same issue with my old smokey amp. i used a set of head phones with an inline volume control to pad out the background white noise.

Q: Does this have any distortion?

I don’t think so. Haven’t played it in awhile. I was super happy with it as far as the amp. Worked great!

Q: How can this have 2- 12 inch speakers?

It can power an actual speaker cabinet. But it only produces the amount of currency for powering your headphone set. So if you jack it up directly to 2-12 cab, it will only be the bedroom volume level. I mean that's as far as it can go. But if you put into a power amp device, and then jack it into a cab, then it sounds like the real deal! I mean this device is essentially an amp simulation thing. If you combine it with a power amp, then you've got your rig. We don't have a 212 cab at hand. But we've done the test to 112 and 412 cabs. Works as I described above.
