This is the best blocking gas cap i've ever had
I have bought stant diesel and gas caps for many year. They last for a few years but then the locking mechanism has problems. This lock I purchased works so smooth and is very good quality. I would definitely recommend their product. F350 diesel and porsche boxter.

Meets my needs, but…
The cap fits, locks and what I expected. But what would make it 5 stars is the ability to tether, like the factory cap.

With the price of diesel fuel, this is a must
I bought this for my f250. With fuel prices at a all time high, did not want anyone siphoning my fuel. This is an easy install. I removed the factory cap from the retaining ring but left that in there in case I want to change back. The cap just screws on like the factory one and clicks when tight. Then insert the key, which there are 2. Hold the cap turn the key to lock and the cap will then spin free and be unable to remove. Just need to find a locking DEF cap now

Doesn’t fit 2011 Ford F350
The media could not be loaded. Supposedly fits 2011 Ford F350. Goes on OK but you can only get it off by using large adjustable pliers.

Ok gas cap for what it is
Fuel cap works as intended. Lock mechanism is very finicky, when unlocked the cap may not turn to be removed. You need to push down really hard to engage the "spline" mechanism or the cap will just click and not come off. This is frustrating when you are in a hurry.

Perfect fit for 16 Ford F350
As others have said, this is a perfect fit for Ford Super Duty. You do have to use the key both to lock and unlock it, but that makes sense when you understand how it works. The only think it needs to be "perfect" is a strap/holder to make it work like the OEM cap. I did like others have done and simply left the stock cap attached as it will sit inside the door without issue.

Works great on 2017 Ford Super Duty
My unit came with a tether as well as various push buttons to secure it to the OEM location. Cap works great and feels secure.

Left the original gas cap attached, fits in at the left hand side of the compartment.

Exactly what I was looking for.
2014 f350 diesel- works perfect I was worried about it not holding a seal but it holds tank pressure and is exactly what I was looking for.
