SpinChill - Portable Drink Chiller

I gave this SpinChill to my daughter for a gift. She comes in from work after a very hard day, dinner isn't quite ready and she hits the refrigerator for a cold glass of wine or can of beer usually to be disappointed. Although we keep both at the house we rarely keep it in the refrigerator unless we know we are having friends over. This SpinChill works so quickly and efficiently in just 2 minutes she has a cold stress re-leaver and starts to unwind before dinner (much better for digestion to be relaxed a bit). Speaking of guests we all have surprise guests occasionally. We may not be refrigerator ready but with the SpinChill we don't have to be. We greet our guest and when we offer something to drink and know what they would like we have a way to chill whatever it might be. I set a large bowl into my sink (thinking ahead to the clean up), I fill it with ice around what I am chilling and add salt, (salt makes ice colder and is just like I was making ice cream). Let it sit while I get snacks and glasses ready then spin the drink. In less than five minutes I can usually serve a snack and a drink to my surprise guests and they never feel that they were intruding.

It actually works great cooling beer! I travel for work a lot so, sometimes I buy my beer depending on taxes and deposits and availability of the type of beer I want to have. So if I bring beer with me rather then buying it where I'm staring then its my beer is warm and there is nothing better than having a beer after checking in. I've tossed beer into just ice or the freezer and at the same time thrown a beer on the spinchill and after about 5 to 10 minutes the beer is ready to drink then, toss another one on the spinchill finish the first beer and pull out the second spinchill beer and compare it to the freezer beer or just ice beer and the spinchill beer is drinkable while the others still need at least another 30 minutes. There are only a few slight issue I had. One was onetime I tossed a can of beer on the spinchill and put it in my hotel sink while i was settling in. I did a few more that night and the next morning as I was getting ready to head out for work I saw a ring around the sink where the can had been spinning around. I tried cleaning up the ring but it just wouldn't come off. I damaged a hotel sink...luckily housekeeping didn't notice it and have it end up on my bill. So just be careful of where you are using your spinchill. Another issue with the spinchill is if your chilling a beer with with a paper type label. It just peals up is all, not an issue if your not going to return it for a deposit. Great for construction workers who travel for work

Not made well, the spinner keeps popping off. I wouldn't buy it again.

This this is beyond awesome. It works great, and it gives you a cold drink in a short amount of time. It is a cool thing to talk about or bring to a BBQ where ice is limited. If you like to hang out outside on hot days, you should own this. Batteries last a long time and both longnecks and cans work in the fitted top. Caution: do not use on an open can/bottle

This product works pretty well. I am only giving it three stars because 1) it's easier to just stick something in the freezer for a little bit, and 2) this requires a lot of ice/cold water to use. But when we do use it, it works great!

This was cool for the one time it worked. When I went to use it again it didn't work. I tried putting in 4 brand new batteries and still nothing. Unfortunately it isn't a daily use item and by the time I tried again it was past the return period. Don't waste your money! Follow up: I sent a message to the company and they promptly responded that if I sent a video showing the problem, they would gladly replace the product. I responded on Aug 8th with a video and I have heard nothing from this company. I've followed up on Aug 18, 31, Sep 5 and Sep 16, and Oct 1 and have yet to receive a response. Clearly this company does not stand behind its products and you should not buy!!! If by chance they ever respond I'll be sure to update this review!

Most everyone knows warm mixer + cocktail = flat drink. With this thing, you have an ice cold mixer in less than 1 minute. It fits 12 oz cans, and also has a holder that will fit 12 oz bottles and most wine bottles. Stick it on your ice, turn it on, and literally in less than a minute, your beverage goes from room temp to ice cold. You'll wonder where this thing has been all your life!

My husband is currently in a skilled nursing facility, and whenever I visit I always bring some Diet Pepsi, his fave beverage. I used to ask for ice to put in his tumbler to chill it, but he hated that it would always become watered down before he finished it. When I saw this, I thought, "Problem solved!", but I turned out to be only half-right. While it works GREAT on cans (I'd request a beside pitcherful of ice when I arrived, put a 12 oz can of soda into an empty pitcher, pour the ice around it, attach the device, let it spin for 2-3 min., and present my happy hubby with a nicely chilled soda), it's useless with bottles. Because it's designed for use with beer bottles I hoped I'd be able to save a little $ buying soda on sale in bottles, which is always MUCH cheaper than cans, but no joy. Beer bottle caps are evidently just a little bigger than soda bottle caps, which allows a soda bottle to slip out of the device once the top begins rotating. We were a little disappointed, but will continue using it with cans, as this spares the nursing staff the inconvenience of keeping his Pepsi in their crowded staff refrigerator.

I bought this as a gift and was surprised at how well it worked. The beer bottle chilled down after about a minute and there's no problem in opening the bottle straight away. I can't say how well it works with a can or a bottle of wine but I'll probably get myself one and give it a go.
