Not very stable
I have been a Korg tuner user for a long time, believing them to be the best you can get without paying huge money and as a busy repairer, I need a fast tracking stable tuner to cover all instruments. I have had a collection of different clip on tuners that only worked well on certain types of instrument but thought this would be the only one needed for all instruments as claimed by the maker. I am disappointed. It is far too slow to read a note and then unstable, regardless of the instrument, bass to Ukulele and all in between. I only use these clip ons as a quick tune up device, accurate work is done through a rack mount unit however many acoustic instruments have no pickup so the tuners role is more important there. The last tuner I bought from Korg was a Pitch Black 'hand held' and that, compared with the very old model it replaced, has been disappointing too, as well as a musician friend whom I suggested a Pitch black floor pedal to which he found hard to work with. Perhaps this maker is going the way of many well established brands - In the end, the drive for profit outstrips all other considerations. I am going to give Korg the benefit of the doubt that these have been hiccups but can't see myself buying another one from this maker.

Get it for the looks
Only 2 or the modes was usable on my acoustic guitar, the 3rd mode was impossible to tune to. Ease of use is a mixed bag. Yes its easy to understand what button/switch/knob does what, but... to actually use them is challenging as there’s just not much for u your fingers to grip on to, so most of it becomes a 2 hand task. Sure you can activate each function with one hand but you run the risk of scratching your headstock as it slid and slide on the headstock from just trying to secure a grip.Pros: it looks really good..

Pricey and feels flimsy
This hasnt failed me in any way but it doesnt quite feel as robust as I hoped. If you accidentally stepped on it I think that would be the end of it. Korg have a reputation for quality tuners and I think this would be no exception in respect of the functional side of things, however, it feels cheap and when I compare it to cheap tuners that cost 1/10th of the price, I dont think this feels like 'good value' . It takes an AA battery which I guess is easier to source that 2032 button batteries that the cheaper tuners all seem to take but ask yourself if this feature alone is worth 10 times the price as it it offers little else extra

Worth every penny
This is pricey, but worth it. I’d updated my old tuner with a newer model and my guitar was supposed to be in tune but the intonation was just not right. All I could think was the in-tune area was too wide and errors between strings were magnified. This tuner is incredibly accurate with a really tight sweet spot. Within 5 minutes of getting it my guitar sounded amazing again. The quality is excellent, instructions simple and it is worth every penny. I would highly recommend this product.

It is as good as online reviews say it is.
Not much to say about it. It works great and looks great. I don't have anything other than guitarsmith's tuning to compare it too.
