Creative Feet Satinedge Sewing Machine Presser Feet

I have 3 portable sewing machines and this foot (with several included adaptors) fit all of them. (Brother/Singer). I was not happy with the job it done as it looked messy, not at all like the Youtube/Facebook advertisement. When I have time I’ll play around with it more, but at this point I think I wasted my money.

The directions leave much to be desired, I inquired about a video on how to use for applique, no response. I see there is a book you can purchase but shouldn't there be clear directions with purchase of the foot?

I can't wait to try out this foot on my next project. It is made with a lot of thought put into what you actually need when appliqueing or stitching on the edge or bindings.

After I bought this I realized that both of my machines came with a foot very much like this. Never used it and way past return date. Am donating it to my quilt guild bazaar. I can't comment on quality. Fast shipping..

Creative feet invented a great presser foot when they came up with this item. No more frayed edges or fabric being chewed up trying to make a satin edge. Follow the instructions and you will be pleasantly surprised with the results. No more frustration. Sewing is supposed to be relaxing and enjoyable. With the right presser feet and tools it can be a wonderful, fulfilling hobby.

I've just experimented with it so far, but it fits both of my machines (with a slight adjustment to the needle position for one of them). I'll need to play with the settings on the foot itself to perfect my technique, but the basic finish is superb. It does take practice in order to not watch the needle; we're conditioned to do that!!
