Wonderful Professional Locks

Exactly what we needed, professional and functional. Installation took me just over an hour, even though I had the right tools - this does take time. A couple of tricky things include the fact that the distance of the through-hole from the jamb was not exactly right, so I had to carve out some extra clearance for it to fit. Also for your average interior door there is not a lot of room for error on the thickness of the door.

I installed this on the guest bathroom at my house. Its kind of out of place in a house, since this is really made for commercial use, but I think its very practical with a guest bathroom. There's nothing more awkward when you're at someone's house and am not sure if there's someone in the bathroom or not. I replaced the privacy leverset with a passage leverset and installed this deadbolt. I work with door hardware all the time so I didn't have any issues installing this deadbolt, but if you're a novice you might have a hard time getting everything to line up perfectly.As always, this Schlage deadbolt functions smoothly and is very mechanically strong. I am happy with it.

The vacant/occupied sign is adorable on my 1920s house bathroom door. More importantly, it's a good quality, timeless brass. Guests love it, I love it. Smooth operation, no question as to whether the door is locked or unlocked. Emergency key provided. We mounted it high enough to deter little kids but make it still wheelchair reachable
