Just what I wanted. AAA batteries - plenty bright - easy to stash in the glove box, by the front door - all five found a new home asap. Easy to drop in your coat or pants pocket - when you might it later.

I'm usually not much for the "As Seen On TV" products, but generally speaking these perform mostly as advertised. Rather than spend a lot of cash for the Li batteries, I simply use bulk AAA in the carrier as I'm not out in Survival Mode. However, I like getting 5 lights for the car's glove boxes and a couple located in the house. Trust me once you have easy access, flashlights are very valuable for anything from seeing your way, to hunting down that dang aspirin that you dropped in the kitchen near the cabinets that fall into that dusty crack that you don't want you dogs finding...

In general, I really like these flashlights. They're versatile, lightweight and handy. The downside is that one of the five flashlights is faulty and there's no way to return it without returning all five (and risking a repeat of the problem). The issue became apparent once I installed AAA batteries. Both the batteries and the case immediately became extremely hot. Like hot to the point that the flashlight could have melted or possibly caught fire. I immediately removed the batteries and tested the same batteries in the other four flashlights. No reaction. Flashlights functioned as designed. So, the batteries weren't the problem. The problem was with the flashlight. So, bottom line is that I have four good flashlights out of five. Lacking a reasonable solution I threw the faulty one away and will just keep the remaining four.

These support 18650 or 3 AAA batteries.The 18650 support was important to me because I have old laptop batteries available to use.I plan to give some away to friends/family.

Excellent. A must have. Not only for emergencies but I use it at work as well. The light is bright and the flash light is very durable. It's so light you sometimes forget it's attached to you. Real value for your money

I like these flashlights. If I had the option I would have liked for the blinking and SOS options to be a separate button rather than having to hit the on/off five times to get back to the brightest but other than that they seem to be reliable and work well. I would suggest using the rechargeable batteries because the flashlight is much brighter than when I was using the AAA batteries and the wrist band broke within a week but other than that I've had a good experience with these flashlights.
