Pros: Price and packaged well, pieces are labeled so you know exactly how to put it together.Cons: I spent almost 3 hours "fluffing" the branches to make it look full. (Pic is about halfway done) The metal branches also sometimes got stuck up and had to work at it to get them down. Hopefully I won't have to "fluff" as much next year!Overall I am happy with the size of this tree for the price. I just couldn't stomach dropping over 500 for something nicer so it gets 4 stars from me.

One of the first things you need to know when shopping for an artificial tree is the difference between PVC and PE. PVC is basically the stiff fabric "needles" manufacturers have been using since at least the 1980's. PE branches mimic the real thing because they're molded, and the mold is often made from a real branch. The makers usually use PE for the outer branches, and PVC as "filler" on the inside of the tree, something they also do with garland, wreaths, etc. This Vickerman is totally PVC, but they take the extra step of tapering the tips so that they look more realistic. Another thing you need to know about fake trees is the number of tips. Usually the more the better, but you also have to consider the width of each tip. On this tree, the tips are about 2 inches at their widest point, and it still seems reasonably full. This tree takes a lot of fluffing, so give yourself plenty of time. I received it in January, but I set it up and fluffed it because I needed to make sure I'm happy before the return window closes. The branches are very flattened right out of the box, and I spent about two hours unfolding them, with breaks. As you can see from the photos, there are some holes in the middle and bottom sections, but ornaments should disguise this. (The tree is sitting on a homemade stand that raises it out of the cat's reach.) The top section is incredibly dense, so much so that it's kind of hard to see what you're doing. Construction is very good, with thread-wrapped branches and greenery that goes all the way to the trunk. Only a few minor manufacturing defects, like tips that aren't formed properly. My only big complaint is that the two bottom-most sections are lined up so they're basically sitting on top of each other, which kind of gives a snowflake appearance if you're looking down on the tree. I tried moving them so they're staggered, but they wouldn't budge. However, this doesn't drastically affect the look of the tree. This is about my eleventh Vickerman order, which includes three of the mini pine trees and three Oak Frasier Fir garlands. I would buy more expensive products if I had the money, but Vickerman makes the best looking Christmas stuff for a reasonable price. I took a chance and bought the Camdon Fir tree through Warehouse Deals, so I got an even better deal, and the tree arrived in excellent condition.

I was specifically looking for a tree without lights and DID NOT want plastic! I had my doubts about ordering something so big unseen but am very happy I did! This tree, after assembly and "fluffing", is very beautiful! Nice full branches that can be positioned to fill holes, they are sturdy enough to hold my heavier ornaments, and it doesn't take up half the room! Highly recommend!

When we moved into our new (smaller) home earlier this year, we got rid of our large half-pre-lit Christmas tree during our move. At the time we decided to get a slim un-lit tree because we found pre-lit trees to be more of a hassle over time. So, I found this on Amazon and decided to order it last week based on all the reviews. Not knowing if it really 'fit', I put it together to see if I liked it or needed to return it. It is exactly what we wanted!! Guess I'll keep it up and decorate it AFTER Thanksgiving!! LOLWe ordered the 6.5 foot slim un-lit option. This tree comes in 3 sections and is very easy to put together. The included stand folds so it can be stored flat. My husband and i decided to keep the boxes it came in for storage. I'm not the strongest woman in the world, yet I can lift the box without any assistance, and put the tree together myself.If you're looking for a simple tree for the holidays, I highly recommend this one!! I loved the ease of assembly. The lighting was perfect, a warm white. But the branches left huge holes from each tier that could never be blended.It always looked off.

it's thick, gorgeous, expertly sculpted to look like the real thing, and has plenty of lights. The thing is that while the bottom two pieces create a seamless whole, the connection between the top two pieces betrays a bit of a gap in the coverage. I was able to fluff around it a bit so it's less noticeable, but it's still there. Too bad because the overall design is stellar. It's a strange oversight.

This tree was exactly what I expected and wanted in a christmas tree. Service was good. I was asked several times whether it was what I wanted and if I was happy with it after my purchase. It's a natural color green and the branches are full. Because of this it took a while to spread the branches out, but that was to be expected. After shopping around for several months I found this to be a great deal. Christmas trees seem very expensive to me and for the price this one is good quality. It came in a big box with smaller boxes inside and once put together was as tall as they said it would be and in good shape after shipping. Can't think of any reason not to give this christmas tree five stars as it was exactly as I expected, in good condition, and the service/shipping were good and quick.

This is the perfect slim tree, great quality. Read the rave reviews and was not disappointed. The sections were labeled, but it's rather obvious what order they assemble in. Came with a tree stand, which was a nice plus. My husband put each section in the tree stand at table level and fluffed it before assembling the three fluffed sections. If you need a slim tree of this height, look no further.
