Moshi USB-C for 3.5mm Headphone Digital Audio Adapter, Built-in DAC, Supports 24-bit/192 kHz

For Most music it works. But it adds some music I get distortion on the really high notes, or when in a song the track has an effect where it cuts on and off. Now I tested this listening on a S20 FE 5G on USB Audio Player Pro and Poweramp and with The MoonDrop Aria IEM. Apart from that there is loss in clarity. Now I compared this to just listening to it connected via the headphone jack in a One Plus 3T where it sounded slightly warmer in comparison. Next was against music played from my computer via MusicBee connected to a Fiio K5 Pro with the same headphone of course. Through this DAC AMP it was much cleaner and the soundstage felt wider but that is unfair comparing it to a $150 piece of gear but still I expected it to sound close in detail. The tracks I used to test it was The Passenger by Iggy Pop, Notice Me by Moe Shop, Lateralus by Tool and Möbius from the soundtrack of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway. All tracks were in FLAC format and stored locally with the exception of The Passenger which was streamed in Lossless Quality from Apple Music.So Basically if you are an audiophile give this a hard pass, but if you need a 3.5mm audio jack on your phone just buy the much cheaper one from Apple. I honestly regret this purchase. Original Review: ONE STAR. I have used a Moshi dongle for my lightning iPad in the past and was very pleased with it. Based on that experience I decided to buy this dongle for my new iPad Pro. Unfortunately, this usb-c dongle does not fit that same headset. The 3.5 mm connection is too loose and does not work at all. I discovered this too late in the return window. Expensive mistake : (UPDATE: 6.16.20: Moshi placed a comment below my review and is sending me a free replacement. I will update this review again as soon as I receive the replacement.UPDATE: 6.26.20: FIVE STARS: The replacement dongle fits my headset perfectly. Obviously the original one Moshi shipped was defective. I really appreciate how Moshi is standing behind their product!

I have a set of Bose noise-canceling earphones which I’m not willing to give up - they have the old 3.5mm connection, which Apple has (grrrr) done away with, and I had to have a way to connect to my iPhone XS. This worked perfectly. It’s well-made and other than adding weight and a little clumsiness to the overall package (which is not the fault of the dongle) it is a great way to get backward compatibility.

Sounds great! A little glitchy though on my Pixel 2. It does not always send audio through after a Pause/Play cycle. Will often have to unplug/replug to get it to work again.

This USB-C audio adapter delivers a splendid audio quality when paired with a high end speaker. I used it with my Windows computers and my Pixel 2 XL and it works perfectly!

I've had this adapter for years and it has been fantastic. Used on multiple phones from Samsung, Motorola and Google with absolutely no issues. Far better quality, and louder than the Apple adapter. Been through the washer and dryer multiple times, lost, left out in the rain, been run over by my car. Has traveled with me across the USA for years now. Just look at the pictures in my review; somehow it's still going strong.

I lost my Pixel 2 XL dongle and was searching on sites for a replacement, this one works perfectly with Pixel 2 XL and gives an excellent Sound Output on my OneMore Triple Driver Earphones, i feel that the clarity and bass is enhanced by this dongle.Pros : Works perfectly with Pixel 2 XL, Excellent Sound Output.Cons : The Dongle is quite Costly and the seller is selling above the MRP as stated on the box, the dongle cable is quite Long, there is slight interference which i felt while listening to music sometimes but i could not get the source and finally it really is a hassle to keep all such dongles Google should have put a 3.5 mm jack directly on this brilliant phone.

Superteil, funktioniert mit meinem samsung tab s6. Nach langer Suche habe ich endlich eine Steckvebindung usb c auf 3.5 mm Klinke gefunden die bei meinem Tablet funktioniert. Dank dem eingebauten digitalen Audiochip kann ich jetzt mit herkömmlichen Kopfhörern meine gestreamte Musik genießen.....toller Adapter
